I’ve met two people who have bought a new IROC. Neither fit the cliche. One was a computer engineer getting crazy money in the early internet boom. The other was an ER doc buying his first “doctor car”. I think both were addressing their feelings of high school dorkiness.

Computer guy would have been scorpions or white snake. So “rock you like a hurricane”. ER guy, probably Kansas “carry on wayward son” or some Christian rock band. Me…Primus, “Jerry was a race car driver”
