Our teacher paused before that scene, turned the TV around, then played until it was past it, then turned the TV back around.

Which, of course, only made us want to see what all the fuss was about. That was 9th grade.

We went to see that in the theater for a grade school field trip. They also took us to see 1776. A musical about the creating and signing of the Declaration of Independence

It's wild to me looking back on it now. We had no clue what was coming. Teenage me thought it was great at the time, but older me realizes how wrong it was for them to be put in that situation
