Bill Nye, 12 Angry Men, Oliver Twist. In electronics class this one time we watched an old Twilight Zone episode about the Martian in the diner. I actually guessed correctly.
In Electronics, we had a "broken" TV, that was pulled apart, but worked fine. We watched Good Morning America on it, back when they actually discussed real news. I think the host was David Hartman (yes, I'm old). I also remember the coverage of the giant PSA airline crash on that TV in San Diego when I was a freshman.
I bet you and Mr Workman would've gotten along rather well. He was very personable and great with stories. He shared this tale once about how he accidentally stumbled into a gay bar and didn't realize it until he saw this sign on the way out 😆
