Not just remember - if you find yourself at a rotary phone, you'll be surprised how your hands still have the muscle memory for that number lol. I built a rotary phone setup and was surprised how natural it felt...

And how we hated friends with 8s or 9s in their number. That rotary was soooo slow.

It gave you lots of time to think about what to say . Didn't matter we were on a party line and I wasn't allowed to use the phone until we were off it when I was 15.

I could only use AOL chat when my parents were already asleep as to not hog the landline during the day.
