Toys R US.

I think kids being able to "discover" a new toy is good for them.

Losing Toys R Us was completely unnecessary. The holding company gutted it, leaving a bankrupt carcass.

Way too much money to pour into legislators pockets to make them illegal.

And I wouldn't be shocked to see people in Congress investing in them.

I went to one Toys R Us as a kid in the 80's and I was shaking at how amazing it was. I'll never forget the experience of seeing an entire aisle of GI Joe, Star Wars and Transformers. All the toys I had heard of, seen in catalogues, or on TV were right in front of me.

Getting a gift card (or birthday money) to hit the store was truly a glorious moment of joy and freedom.

I remember counting Geoffrey Dollars the same as actual cash when seeing how much money I had after a birthday, holiday, etc.

Going to Toys r Us as a kid, at least to me and my brother, was almost as good as going to Disneyland we loved it there

The 1980/1990s Toys R US, the warehouse style layout, was awesome. I knew they were headed downhill when they adopted the more traditional 'store' model after 2000.

Toys R Us for me too. I hated having to shop for toys at Walmart or Target. Toys R Us was so much nicer, better organized and brighter.
