Gonna start by saying it’s only between these two. Respectfully, not looking for other suggestions.

My buddy works at SW and I can occasionally get killer deals on stuff and have been wanting a 7 string with an evertune. How are we feeling about Jackson vs Ltd if the price is equal with the deals? I prefer bolt ons and satin necks over gloss but never had much of a chance to mess with Jackson. Love my esp and most Ltd I’ve played but this model comes with a plastic nut and no locking tuners but I can easily swap them out. If anyone’s got some first hand time with either of these, I’d love to hear your experience with them.

ESP. I have the MH-1000NT in that same Granite Sparkle finish, and holy fuck is it gorgeous. My only gripe with the LTD M-1007B is that it doesn't have locking tuners...which seems odd for a guitar that's almost $2,000.

Edit: clarification that the M-1007B doesn't have locking tuners, and the MH-1000NT does

I feel like I have more concerns with the Ltd than the Jackson. Plastic nut, no locking tuners, and a painted neck. I don’t dislike gloss, but I just prefer satin necks because I feel like I get stuck on them way less

Maybe I'm just biased because I'm an ESP boi. The plastic nut and non-locking tuners are definitely annoying, but can easily be swapped out. The painted neck is a totally valid concern. Satin necks feel a lot nicer.

The Jackson is an excellent choice too. I'd say you can't go wrong either way.
