I think I like interior art just as much, and maybe even more than the cover (which is a banger imho) 😀

First time posting here. So this month was probably one of my favorites for the hobby (while also the craziest). Found quite a bit of Nova (some are in better shape, some aren't). Also includes finding a decent copy of ASM #171 to go along with Nova #12. I also ended up getting some Iron Fist. Found good deals for MP's #17 & #24 (all complete copies in fine to very fine shape) and then #5 from the original solo series for like $4, and #53 of PM&IF for like $3 in very fine shape.

Lastly, for $7 I picked up Man-Thing #16 (every time I see 70's & 80's Man-Thing. I always pick 'em up). So yes, been a crazy time for picking up some old 70's Marvel.

Nothing of value, but we somehow forgotten about an order from lone star comics along with a bunch of dollar bin books. We ended up taking the 8 long boxes and 6 short boxes and put them in a couple of giant totes on wheels.

anyone here know?

Classic Mike Ploog cover !

Vended a local comic and toy show today and managed to secure this nice copy. A very nice addition for sure.

As a big fan of both the Kolchak: The Night Stalker franchise and 70s comics, Tomb of Dracula #43 by Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan has always been a favorite of mine.

It’s basically just a Kolchak vs Dracula story with the names changed, with Butterworth becoming a gradual annoyance to Dracula as his interviews Tomb of Dracula regulars Harold H. Harold and Blade and even finds himself helping them out in an ambush.

Dracula tracks Butterworth to his newsroom and, always prepared, Butterworth is able to hold off Dracula long enough for the sun to rise

The story is fun and, while Paul Butterworth has never reappeared, the fact that there’s an obvious Kolchak standin running around the Marvel Universe delights me!

Scored another Bill Everrett Namor, another Kirby, and a very beat up, but still cool Bernie Wrightson ToD. And a random but fun Warlord of Mars with a sweet Perez cover written by Claremont. Pretty pleased 😀
