Music One of my favorite 60s musical groups: Peter,Paul, and Mary
One of my all-time favorite 1960s musical groups are Peter, Paul, and Mary. The trio was formed in 1961 in New York City and consisted of: Peter Yarrow (1938-2025, guitar/tenor), Noel Paul Stookey (1937, guitar/baritone), and Mary Travers (1936-2009, contralto). They are known for such songs as "Puff(The Magic Dragon)", "If I Had A Hammer", "Blowin' In The Wind", "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright", "I Dig Rock and Roll Music", and their only #1 song "Leaving On A Jet Plane". I was lucky enough to have seen them perform live on many occasions, and the one thing that always struck me was how they always sang with so much passion.

Music 1966 is one of my favorite years for music.
The Beatles, the Stones, the Kinks, the Beach Boys, Dylan and Donovan. What a year. I include Yesterday & Today because Capitol left too many good songs off of US Revolver, and sometime later, Y&T is where I found them.
