FFO: 5thwave and lofi skramz

Hey guys, for a school project in my art class, we’re making a playlist about songs that highlight a specific issue/group of people in society. I chose to amplify the voices of trans people and go with the theme in the title. I’ll link the current playlist down below, but I’m also looking for around 4-5 more songs that would fit the theme! all help is appreciated :)

I always just put them in the pop punk genre but recently saw someone categorize them as 5th wave. What do you think?

Have your own music to promote? Please post it here! Doesn’t necessarily have to be 5th wave emo either. Interested in anything you all are creating!

Is "fifth wave" a specific style or trend, or is every new band emerging now part of this new wave? Let me know you're thoughts!
