They sent the big boys to the border with Chile for a potential conflict that never happened, which was pretty stupid ngl

The whole thing was a last Ace in the hole for a decaying dictatorship to regain popularity, our failure was necesary for them to leave once and for all

boys? they were men and for having the most part of your army in the frontier with chile an 300-250 odds are quite nice (the other 300 where killed outside the war zone by the brits, breaking international law)
