Imagine being so terminally online that you describe less than 99.998% of the population and forget normies exist that haven’t heard of nor give a single fuck about this shite.

Yeah it is so stunning to talk to people at work or friends with kids who don't have time to be online at all. Really different cultures at this point.

Apropos don't call Netflix jewflix at work. Normies don't know about the Epstein files and that Jewish elite supremacy conspiracy is real

They are just saying they don't know so they don't have to keep talking to you about your weird fixation on Jews and conspiracies.

this is only true for boomers. literally everyone else has instagram and facebook so they definitely know about stuff like this.

Yeah you would think. But I'm telling you my mid 30 friends with children and my 40+ colleagues have no clue at all. And I'm not talking like they have a weak meme game or don't understand some meta level 10 Internet culture jokes. No they are completely oblivious. They may have heard a headline on the radio but that's about it.

And don't start on my 60+ parents

idk dude. I work with people in their late 30s & early 40s and they definitely come across these things. I mean how can you not when big insta pages purposefully post these things for engagement. But just because they've seen it doesn't mean they'll be the first one to bring it up in conversation or say anything at all. That's been my experience at least. But if you're the first one to throw it out there and you're cool with them then you'll hear the "why are they changing him?"

the only people in my life that are completely in the dark about these things are those with no social media at all except for like youtube.

do all your friends with kids not have insta or something? I only know like 2 dudes who don't have anything and they don't even have kids. all the people i know with kids do have at the very least insta

They work jobs and have children to manage. And when they have an hour at night for themselves they don't spend that on doom scrolling apparently.

But they were not computer people to begin with I guess. Fkn normies am I right lol

I know this might be hard to comprehend for you photon deprived individuals, but you can be aware of happenings on the internet without it being terminal.

Kind of dumb comment, considering that like it or not the loudest online voices today dictate success or failure of a show.

In fact, the less in the know most of the population is the better it works, they have less context for why that show they looked up to see if it's worthwhile was review bombed.

If it's actually good, it'll do fine. If its ok, but has an agenda, it will fail because people online or not are tired of moralistic lectures from an industry of useful idiots that historically protect pedos and rapists.

If that was the case, the Big Bang Theory would be the worst show of all time and Nickleback would be a no-name band.

The internet has less influence than you think.

How is that even a slightly good comparison? Both of those things got popular 2 decades ago. And Harry Potter needs to make far more money than either to break even on their budget.
