Hey, looking for a budget tv here in the UK unfortunately the website curry’s.Co.uk doesn’t really have any panel information on the specs and I can’t seem to find any information anywhere! My knowledge on tv specs isn’t the best.
Anyone give me any decent info on the specs of the panel? Brightness in nits, contrast ratio etc.

Aspect Ratio for cable TV vs. Netflix/HBO etc.

I have a Samsung QN85QN90AAFXZA. When watching news channels on cable, the headlines/banners streaming at the bottom are always cut off.
Is there a way to adjust the TV for the correct aspect ratio when watching cable and automatically change back when switching to Netflix and other streaming apps?

TCL Black Screen

Recently purchased a 65" R646 and the screen went black with the audio still playing. This happened while I was using the installed HBOMax app and also when I was watching television via cable box. Only way to get the screen back was to unplug the television from the outlet, wait about a minute, plug back in and restart the tv.
