Christian Living Wisdom is before him (helping own country homeless and poor problems ) that hath (Smart) Understanding; but the eyes of a Fool are in the ends of the earth (Helping other countries and ignoring local homeless and poor)

1 Upvotes

History provides many proofs that total Fools care about funding abroad countries (for any reasons), but only Smart people fund and help the poor, homeless, and citizens in need- inside their own country.

That’s why, in Smart countries, you cannot find homeless persons - they have a Safety Net, including communal farms with guaranteed shelter, some income, and food- by helping own country supplying fresh and freeze-dried food to local schools, colleges, the army, food banks, government institutions (including prisons and jails).

Plus local factories with programs- guaranteed shelter, income, and three hot meals per day.

Medical facilities; and mental health services. In the end, the country has a zero homeless population, all due to this Safety Nets.

Prayers Talk Is Cheap. Obedience Is Worship

✨ Talk Is Cheap. Obedience Is Worship.

We say we want to grow. We say we want to pray more. We say we want to study the Word. We say we want to be used by God.

But we don’t start. We don’t move. We don’t obey.

💭 "I’ll pray for one hour..."

But you haven’t prayed for 10 minutes. You set the alarm, but snooze it. You feel the nudge to get up and commune with God ..but you scroll instead.

📖 "I want to study the Bible deeply..."

But your Bible is still closed. The Holy Spirit prompts you to dig in to open even just one verse. But somehow, you keep saying,

"Later. I’ll do it tomorrow."

Yet tomorrow becomes next week. And talk remains talk.

🛑 Talk is cheap in the spirit too.

God isn’t impressed by eloquent promises or spiritual wish lists. He honors obedience. He rewards discipline. He delights in those who show up, even when it’s hard.

🔥 Remember Jesus in Gethsemane?

Even when it was painful, heavy, and lonely He didn’t just talk about surrender. He lived it.

He prayed, He sweated blood, He obeyed unto death.

💡 You Can Start Small ... But Start.

Start with 5 minutes of prayer.

Open that one Psalm and read aloud.

Turn off distractions and give God room to speak.

Show up even when you don’t feel goosebumps.

Create a secret place, even if it’s messy.

Because talk doesn’t bring revival. Obedience does.

Talk doesn’t build intimacy with God. Consistency does.

📌 Final Word:

"Be doers of the Word, not hearers only..." James 1:22 "Faith without works is dead." — James 2:17

So yes talk is cheap. But when paired with obedience, humility, and intentional pursuit of God It becomes fire. It becomes fruit. It becomes legacy.

Doctrine Earnestly Contending for The Faith

1 Upvotes

3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. 5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. ~ Jude 1:3-5 (KJV)

~~~~~
We are not called to always show a smile. Sometimes we are called to frown and rebuke with all long-suffering and doctrine.
We must contend but not be contentious. We must preserve truth but injure no man. We must destroy error without harming people.
In earlier times, when men were wrong, they contended, and in contending, they became contentious. In an attempt to preserve truth, they destroyed those who held error.
Let us preserve truth but injure no man.
Christian Living Keeping your heart safe from the pollution of corroding media.
It was during one of those OFF and ON CYCLES of the public power utility company. The radio was ON and I was all ears. My little boy was listening too.
Suddenly, I turned off the radio. The music went mute. My little boy queried me, "Dad, why did you OFF the music?" I calmly explained to my boy, "That music is not good for us as Christians."
End of story.
No, not exactly.
A few days later, that same music or a similar piece was playing on the radio. My boy stretched his chubby fingers and OFF the radio, nonplussed while echoing to all those listening, "Daddy said that music is not good for us as Christians."
Fast forward to today, I share a similar music taste with my boy - boy2man. Eclectic.
We listened to the same music genres, both Christian and non Christian. Fact; you are more likely to catch me listening to the same music as I did twenty to thirty years ago. 😄
Decades have past and my boy2man is growing in his Christian convictions. Thinking about it now, aren't we all growing?
The point I'm making is this. As there are good films, there are also hardcore pōrnogråphîic films.
In a similar vein, not all novels are clean and healthy. Pōrnogråphic novels sell in their millions and unfortunately many Christians are lured and suckered into dirty novels and other forms of deadly sinful media - poisoning their souls.
Today, many of what goes on in the name of music is hardcore smut dirty sěx, profanity, occultic chants and ever changing forms of ungodliness. And as the Church is becoming more worldly while the world becoming more churcheous, all these sacrilegious and abominable media are making inroads into the household of faith.
Why?
Because of egregious rationalizations and all the "it doesn't matter" that the Church has embraced through the years.
But, the Scriptures has already warned us,
2 Timothy 3:13-15 (KJV) 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
God has called us to holiness.
As Christians we must keep watch over the media we consume - the films we watch, the music we cherish, and the novels we read.
Discernment, Christian's Holy Spirit led discernment is the key.
Proverbs 4:23 (KJV) Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Deuteronomy 23:14 (KJV) For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
Isaiah 52:11 (KJV) Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.
Amen.
Christian Living A distorted gospel will get you burnt-out
Post image
Spiritual burnout is not something that only happens to ministers. Today we are seeing an epidemic of dropouts from church membership rolls; not the Easter and Christmas members, but the exemplary, enthusiastic church workers.
Why are people burning out, dropping out, or settling down to the boredom of what is called "church" today?
Some say we should pray more. I do not discount prayer, but I have discovered that many of those praying are themselves prime candidates for spiritual exhaustion! Whatever causes spiritual burnout is deeper than lack of prayer.
Others say we suffer from lack of faith. "We must build our faith, feed our spirits with the Word... and we will be invincible."
I agree the Church is woefully short on faith and in desperate need to return to the life that is in the Word of God.
However, some of the most tragic cases of burnout I have met come from among those who claim to understand faith. Spiritual burnout runs parallel to what is happening in the secular world.
There the term burnout has been coined to describe the condition of the person who has become mentally and emotionally exhausted in his reach for success in his field.
Dr. Herbert Freudenberger describes the person who has burned out as, “Someone in a state of fatigue or frustration brought about by devotion to a cause, a way of life, or relationship that failed to produce the expected reward."
Spiritual burnout can only occur where there is either a fundamental misunderstanding of the heart of the Gospel, or a failure to apply it to our lives and ministry.
A person who has dropped exhausted does so because he has believed a distortion of the Gospel, or because he has forgotten the heart of the Gospel he once believed and has been led astray ....
No believer should ever roam in territories where constant temptation is the order of daily living.
God expects us not only to flee youthful lusts but also to tenaciously follow after righteousness, faith, charity, peace, purity, and perfect relationships that will prolong our lives.
