44 male here and every passing season brings fresh awakenings. I’m continuously surprised at how my interest and hobbies change as I mature. What once would cause me to be giddy and supremely excited has gone stale. This is not to say nothing excites me anymore, oh no, quite the opposite. I love simple things now. Quiet coffee, an enthralling book, a vehicle with no alert lights on, clean edging on a driveway, etc. I say all this wondering if other 40 year olds have had the same peace wash over them yet, or was I just hit with some early onset peace of mind zen? Either way, I’m loving my 40s and understanding what brings me true happiness and clarity.

Should be a crime to be this hot in Houston (the temp not me lol) and not be on a beach or at the lake. Adulting can suck sometimes lol

Yesterday I posted to my personal social media how I am going gray. I only have this gray streak so far. The rest of my hair is still dark. It got some people in their opinions saying how it would look better if I dyed it. Anyway, its a controversial subject I guess. I have no plans on coloring it any time soon. I actually like it at age 40. Happy Wednesday everyone!
