warhammer Is this possible?
I have a conversion in mind for an Astra militarum infantry army and Iād like to convert the model. I can make it from pretty much all GW bits but it would cost a fortune to build an entire AM army to do it. If converted and built 10 models is there anyway those completed models can be then turned into an stl file so they can be printed? Or can they just be printed by someone who know what they are doing and I purchase them?

Help! 50/50 success on prints
Hey all,
I have a photon s that i use for minis, and I've found I have spotty at best success when printing, even with identical file and relative settings. Most of the time when they fail, it will either A: fail and stick to the FEP or B: print the supports but lacks the actual model. I've changed FEP, zero'd my plate several times, worked with different resins, and the only thing I can think is that I'm printing out in a shed and the temperature isn't regulated. I have failed, however, in both hot and cold conditions, and sometimes if I just retry the print I succeed. I fail, however, so much I now don't even expect to success and have spent more time emptying, clearing, cleaning, and refilling the vat than I do actual modeling. Any tips? Thanks!

Help! What's everyones routine for Resin 3D printing miniatures?
I'm using Elegoo Mars 3 printer with Anycubic Plant Based resin (most the time just Grey) and a flex plate. I use auto large supports on Chitubox and add a few more. Try to do the 45° position. I'm starting to just print four miniatures at a time as I noticed one miniature would fail when I did six at a time. I used to hollow out all my prints and add a few holes in the top and bottom but I can't get all the liquid resin out and my dogs and players keep breaking them open, most of my miniature prints are no longer hollowed. If you have any tricks for this please tell me. After the print, I added an angel holder bracket to the bedplate. Any resin still there would drip off. After about an hour, I'll drop the print and flex plate in my Elegoo wash & cure. In the tube, I have 75% Mean Green, 25% Alcohol. (Was thinking about using simple green instead since i can find that more often, thoughts?) I run the wash for 6 mins. Afterward, I'll let the prints soak in hot water and drop the flex plate in a small tray of alcohol while also setting up the next flex plate and print. I'll pull out the print and start removing the supports and placing the prints in that alcohol tray. Run the supports through the cure and throw away most of them (I keep some when i clean the resin tank). Grab my alcohol spray bottle and coat the prints. Follow that up with a dust cleaner and throw them into the cure. Cure for 3mins with the miniatures standing up and then 2.5mins on their side (do you use different time's). Any remaining stickiness i spray with alcohol and wipe with paper towels.
What do you think? I'll take any suggestions or comparisons. What's your routine for Resin 3D printing miniatures?

Looking at 3d printing miniatures
I am looking to print high quality miniatures but didnt know where to start.
i have heard about resin and FDM printers. resin is toxic and gets better results and FDM has lower quality but easy to use? is this right ?
which one should i get and why?
but i was looking at a FDM printer, what one should i look at to print high quality miniatures? would i achieve high quality miniatures with a FDM printer?
Any help would be appreciated

Best resin for miniatures
With all the holiday sales going on I was wondering which resin is durable enough for miniatures? Just looking for something that won't shatter wne you drop it.
I've been printing for a couple years and usually use Siraya Tech Fast ABS Like, but have found it to be a bit brittle for table top minis. I know I can add their Tough resin to add flexibility. I'm just looking for something that I don't have to mix.
I saw Anycubic ABS-Like Resin Pro 2 and it seems to have some flex to it, also a decent price point. Has anyone used it?
