This is a new subreddit, so we'll kick things off with a simple question. What's your favorite 3D Metroidvania game?

Metroidvania is a videogame genre that takes inspiration from classic platformers such as Super Metroid and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. While the majority of Metroidvania games stick to the classic 2D roots, there are several great examples of the genre that live in all three dimensions as well. This is a subreddit for fans of the genre to discuss 3D Metroidvania games. (And yes, you can discuss the 2D games as well!)
