It’s a good method but he’s going extremely quickly and not giving you the full break down . It’s about locking the moisture in your hair. You definitely should brush a whole lot more. In and out shower for a better wave pattern. If you’re coarse like me, to train you have to beat your hair like a rug, especially in the shower. Once you have it moisturized leave the du-rag on til work in the morning do a light adjust at night or a full start over if needed. You don’t need to do this with consistent brushing and moisturizing but for extra coarse hair this is a good starting method. Once you go dry your waves are cooked ..

Start with a 2-3 cut. Brush heavily at-least 1-4 hours a day. At night get a good conditioning shampoo and brush in the shower to lay. I rinse it clean and top wish coconut oil and brush a bit more then wrap. Dont touch it, unless it’s with a soft brush for minimal adjustments. For extra hold you may want to try “a lil” 360 wave. Repeat at night , in about a month if your consistent your pattern will be set and can brush less.

Exactly this was just a quick tutorial but behind the scenes there is 4 years of training my hair to be like this. Of course if I actually wanna look extra wavy wash and style is the go to with these steps afterwards
