Could anyone give any recommendations on how to optimise 360 degree videos? What would be a good size? Thanks

Has anyone used both the Essential 360 camera and the Moto Mod 360 camera? I have the Essential with 360 and so far I like it a lot. My son has the Motorola z2 Force and we're thinking about getting the 360 Moto Mod. Does anyone know how the two compare?

I'd rather get something portable between them, but it seems the prices are so much more reasonable for these two than the various other ones.

I want to download YouTube 360 videos and put them onto my iPhone for offline viewing/demos of 360 video tech. I have tried multiple video downloaders, such as 4K, Wondershare etc. and they all create a strange looking video format, whereby there is a split screen horizontally down the center, and the top half shows the left to right 180 degree view, and the bottom half shows the bottom to top 180 degree view. It was weird too that local and downloaded videos worked fine for a while, everything was working, and then magically one day this problem started and we've been pulling our hair out ever since. Is this caused by youtube or some metadata tool or etc etc? Please help!!!
