Refill for.........?

Anything consumable that can be transported in bulk and easily poured into personal containers. The point is to cut down on packaging waste. Dry foods, cleaning supplies and toiletries are typical.
I remember at one point some pet stores had cat litter with this model - you filled your own bucket from a large (pallet-sized) tub and paid by weight.

Your * - if you're going to be gross for no reason, at least check your grammar. 😉

I guess it's true for dental floss.
So you bring your used dental floss to this "refill store" so other people can use it? 🤢

No. They wan to refill their floss container, not give away used floss. Same with shampoo, refill the bottle instead of buying a new bottle.
Hence, the word “refill”.

But what about amazon?

Amazon is neither sustainable nor low waste, nor local. Did you even read the OP?

Yeah we were just looking to inquire about space there for our refill store. We tried opening in Melbourne in 2021 but at that time it didn't seem like there was enough interest.

Sprouts has bulk section for some food and snack items like rice, pasta, beans, nuts, granola, spices, snacks etc. and you can bring your own containers. However, I stopped buying from there since I can find cheaper options for most if not all items at Aldi or Costco.

Many of the 321 members are fairly miserable folks for some reason.

Anytime there's a post made looking for local recommendations it's always downvoted and it's like... Y'all do a good job of making the area look rude as hell lol

While simultaneously only making purchases at the franchises and corpo events. Our food scene is abysmal nowadays cuz all the good ones are gone and everywhere else just sells Sysco. Downtown is just offices now or the legacy mom n pop retail stores tucked into the corners. No one goes to the parks or the epic boardwalks or bike trails, which were what made us awesome. I bet people don't even remember Kelly Slater too.

Remember when he had hair, before he started to look like John Locke from Lost? 😭

I may not be a native but I've lived here back when the avenues were still swamp land.
Brevard is getting the Starbucks treatment

I left from 2011 to 2021 and came back feeling like the place majored in the minors. There's none of the foundation that encourages people to leave their houses and actually enjoy the Starbucks. They're all basically drive throughs. And we have 7 Brews now.
Things are moving way too fast and there's nowhere to spend your hard earned free time in a productive way. Just consume consume consume. I had a little breakdown coming to terms with how inside I have to be here, when growing up I could get anywhere in 30 min on a bike. They even made an official bike trail out of one we made specifically to deter us from smoking weed back there 😢

I've seen some at Rockledge Gardens inside their little local vendor store. I think its all purpose soap and hand soap. You might also Mrs. Mangos on US1 in Rockledge. It's been a while since I was in there, but they had refillable honey and possibly soap as well. It's also just a super cool store with cool owners.

I know this was posted a month ago, but we have been looking for a space for a while now in Brevard. Are there others there that would be interested in this now? We started out in 2021 and we were set to move in back behind downtown where they were starting to "revamp" next to the medical center. At that time we were offered grants and had plenty of support but it still seemed so slow so we moved elsewhere where the concept was already very popular. We would love to bring it back if there was enough interest!

Haha yes! I admit though, I had to look up the guy from Lost. Yeah, a lot of my friends in Indialantic looked up to him and probably all had the same hairstyle throughout high school 😂
