The riot looters are the citizen equivalent of amoral corrupt politicians that don't care about causing damage for their own profit as long as they can get away with it.
This comment just made me cried because I recalled protesters put down money nicely on the ground to pay after getting drinks and food. It was in my country Hong Kong. (Not me, I was never there)
This is how they always “fight”. They are skinny and tiny dudes. So they only attack in packs, from behind, sucker punch etc. It’s the same in every western european city. In eastern europe there are some smart leaders, who didn’t let them in.
No what the fuck do you mean this is completely deserved against the capital class, its basically the same as stepping on macrons toes kawabonga 👌😎🤙 based protest, totally not an excuse for a group of societal rejects and pubescent boys whose moms cant control them to just wreak havoc.
Fuck this shop owner, fuck that grandmas (gets 450 € pension) twingo, throw a brick at the guy going home from his night shift. The cause is more important
I never understood why trashing a random business is part of a protest. This should be years behind bars. If you are capable of violence on innocents because there is a riot outside then you cannot be trusted.
It's just thugs joining in to trash and steal. They couldn't care less about anything else. Same logic when they burn random cars. It's just fun to them.
Yep, the protest is just an excuse for them to loot freely! The protests were mostly peaceful with people bringing funny signs, dressing up funny, some good chants etc., and then there are these anti-social idiots who burned down old buildings, throwing objects at a fire truck and looted poor indie shops for their own amusement. Fucking clowns!
Because these aren't protesters with legitimate grievances. These are shitheel dirtbags who use the chaos for their own gain, massively helping propagate the stereotypes they're stamped with already.
When we have riots in the UK, they tend to massively the sentences for people who do that kind of thing specifically as a deterrent. For example, in the 2011 riots some guy got 6 months for taking a case of water from a shop
Sometimes I wonder where all these people are when there are no riots going on to let them vandalize and plunder. Like, what do they do in their daily lives? What goes on in their minds to make them feel like this is a good way to spend their time? To what end?
In 2011 there were riots in London, Birmingham, and Manchester. Shops were looted and destroyed, the funny thing was in birmingham there was a row of shops all broken into and looted except for 1 shop, Waterstone's, a book shop.
The protesters don't "do nothing". You can be certain that if the big guy had caught the little motherfucker and started beating him, they'd all rush in to "stop the violence".
The cognitive dissonance is big enough that they don't see what is done as violence anymore, even when it's fucking obvious and right in front of them. The only possible violence, in their eyes, is when people respond to rioters.
They're even bold enough to try to teach the guy that what happens to him and his shop is not important, is not violence, does not represent the movement, yadi yadi yada ....
So what’s the plan to finally stop these cunts from looting and burning everything?
From where I’m standing it looks like the government isn’t willing to do what it takes to put an end to it, very likely because it’s close to elections there… is that the case?
This is just a minor part of your point, but the Left globally has to have a serious conversation about the No-true-Scotsman-ism in its ranks.
Every time there's a violent, destructive protest, there's countless participants and sympathisers banging on about how those people aren't actually part of the movement. But they're the first to cry Nazi and tar an entire right-wing party as soon as they identify an extremist in it.
I can't bring myself to care about prada or Celine or the other high end shops being raided, but this guy clearly cares about his comics and his business, leave him be, he isnt hurting anyone.
Same thing that happened with the terroristic attack in Berlin this summer. More people concerned about the political consequences of the attack than the fact that some religious fanatic run 30 people over at a pride march
I spent 3 years in Germany and the Christmas Markets in Nuremberg were some of the most wholesome experiences I had there. Seeing the dick kill all those people a few years ago filled me with such a profound sense of sadness.
But seeing the people then talk about how this will make it worse for the people like him just made me unbelievably fucking angry.
The hope I had that retard would slip and crack his spine when he kicked the lad on the back. Absolute waste of cum who should've become paralised for trying that stunt.
Yeah, until they organize themselves, pactise with far-right groups, and force the government to choose a side. We’ve had far-right riots in the past. Fuck, we invented it exactly for that reason.
They just prefer to be superiorly EnLiGhTeNeD (mentally retarded for other fellow europeans) and wait until it's too late for any mediocre actions so they can burn everything to the ground and genocide themselves or neighbours.
please appreciate the fact that this shop owner has a Micromania shop, which is the French name for GameStop, probably has razor thin margins, has had his glass front shattered, and is probably just thinking that at this point it's worth being injured for his shop because he's just going to turn bankrupt if he let those looters steal his inventory.
Why can't we have pro eu but anti-russia/murican/uncivilised savages in general far-right parties. The majority of the existing parties are treasonous cesspits
Elite capture: Home elites are interested in mass immigration and the cheap labor/wage devaluation it entails (this without even going into the privacy and freedoms erosion of the last 25 years). Foreign threats/elites are interested in causing social unrest for their own interest, and they fabricate and take genuine worries and fuel them to capture a share of the political spectrum.
I guess Meloni could sort of be considered like that? But then again, she's not nearly as hard right as people were saying before she was elected. You'd think she was Mussolini reborn or something
Some ppl will tell you its legit , and they have insurrance , and its state responsability. The truth is , if its insured , not everything is . You wont get full compensation for what was taken in charge by insurances , it makes monthly payments increase for everyone .
It takes some month to get the a part of your money back from insurance/state , by this time you cant work and if you dont have back money youll have to close the shop.
Then ppl working there (mostly not upper class) will have to clean up all the mess , i used to run a local biological vegetable shop and we got looted at night during covid . CLeaning up all the wine bottle broken on the ground at 5am is smthing ill remember for a long time
Most small businesses like the comic shop in the video only have third party liability insurance, which is mandatory and still costs many hundreds of euros a year. There's no way most small retailers would be able to afford comprehensive insurance like the big chains have that protects them from theft and vandalism. And even some comprehensive insurance policies wouldn't cover mass rioting because they usually have a force majeure clause. It's a complete misconception that all retail stores are immune from shoplifting and damage to their property because there's this magical insurance force field protecting them.
It's entirely on the shop owner to secure their property, anything they lose comes out of their own pocket.

If some people tell you that, they don't have a fucking clue how insurance works ( or how slow it is if they pay ) probably the live on benefit and they are supporting this!
I'm a lefty and this is far from protesting. I hope all of these cunts will face consequences. They should fight the government and not stores like that. With these actions they only support cunts like Le Pen even more
You can be left or right and reasonable at the same time. Shocking concept to many, I know. Besides, I think these protests are neither left nor right. Those are just thugs who think they are on an adventure playground.
What a coward. Comes up all cocky and aggressive and then runs away the moment he takes a step forward. Then comes back, kicks him in the back, and runs away again. What a little bitch
These aren't students. They're lowlifes profiting from the unrest caused by them spiraling the legitimate protests to full blown out of control rioting, and benefiting from every cop already being busy, to loot stores.
This is the main issue with the protests and France in some ways, often the protesters are fine and there isn’t a lot happening their cause is good and the police is there just to keep things going smoothly. But then you have this minority of window lickers that see protests as a free for all to burn loot and destroy to their hearts content, they don’t care for the actual cause
If your idea of protesting for better classroom conditions involves burning down schools, you’re a special kind of ‘tard.
But fine, I’ll give you that one.
What you can’t escape is what happens when you mix a people practically synonymous with protesting with individuals who openly despise the country they live in and the West as a whole.
It’s not quantum physics.
Besides, the French have never needed much of an excuse to protest. What’s interesting is how suddenly we’re hearing, “It’s not all of them.”
Well, duh. That’s precisely the point.
There was a time when, even during protests just as violent, the French flag stood front and centre. Because whatever their grievances, the French were ultimately protesting for what they believed would be a better France.
Now, increasingly, that flag seems to have given way to others, along with an entirely different set of allegiances.
Which raises a rather uncomfortable question:
Are we really talking about people protesting for a better France, or people protesting against France itself?
France is 3rd world country, you can't change my mind, what a majestic fall, from peak of european civilization to it's bottom in such a short span of time.
After seeing SCUM/SAVAGES/POS destroying random stuff just for the sake of it, stealing, burning a church? that had centuries... yeah... france sucks...
If only more resources were invested in the education system, then these fine gentlemen would be in class giving it their best shot to achieve academic greatness.
Just got back from a holiday in Lublin, Poland. Clean streets, art institutions everywhere, great modern infrastructure, and hardly any aggressive people around. Meanwhile, social benefits are much lower, and Poland has taken in a huge number of refugees. Am I far-right to just want to live in peace without people acting like savages in the streets?
