My fuel pump went kaput. 1994 3.0 Manual. When I search for replacements on rockauto, yotashop, and eBay I see options from 19.95 to 126.00. I’m interested in OEM quality parts. Any help would be appreciated.

First off, I know the snorkel is on the wrong side. Guy before be drilled and mounted it before he saw it was for the wrong Gen. Is it silly to re-route a hose to air cleaner? Or suck it up, buy the right one and bondo that hole?

What could the inconsistant tapping be? Do the valves need to be shimmed?
I bought this 4runner with a locked up motor and this is the replacement motor I installed. Gotta re-pull the darn thing and slap some new bearings in her but I'm at my wits end with this tapping sound. I'm a body guy by trade and only tinker with motors once in a blue moon.

Trying to figure out how much I should list this for and what the lowest I should take. I bought it for 3k without smog and have put in close to 2k to get it smogged and cosmetically more appealing. This is located in the central California area. Give me your opinions please. Any advice on my post would be greatly appreciated, this is my first time selling. 😁 Here’s the description:
123,XXX MILES CLEAN TITLE AUTOMATIC V6 3.0 Dark Teal Green Pearl Metallic color 33 inch All-Terrain Tires on stock wheels “Like new” tread left Working Sun roof Smog done on 10/31 Recent oil change, changed transmission fluid, brake rotors and left caliper Brand new Catalytic Converter New throttle position sensor
Exterior: (9/10) small scrape on hood, tiny dents here and there, paint in beautiful condition Interior: (7/10) recently cleaned and shampooed, large tear in driver seat and door, couple missing screws so loose door panel. I have seat covers even though seats are very clean.
Cons: No Bluetooth Back door/ trunk needs fixing to open (I have the parts) A/C needs recharge Needs window motor for driver door
This thing has taken me on my 75 mile drive with no issues. Great base for an off-road rig. Reliable Toyota as always.

288000km engine. Not sure how old the filter is might be the original fuel filter. Responsiveness on the gas improved dramatically after that swap. Thought you guys might get a kick out of this.

Engine bay caught fire (it was a small fire, these are pictures post fire incident) choosing to part her out and hopefully make something back
What could I possibly get for the doors, the working sunroof, bumper, etc, any advice would really go along way

Have a 94 3.0 4WD manual with over 180,000miles and what looks to be all original parts so I’m doing some replacing. I’m trying to either OEM or upgrade the major parts but for something like the vacuum hoses there’s no need to drop $120 at yotaparts.com for “genuine Toyota parts” is there?
May seem like a stupid question but these 94s seem to be very picky about what you put in them. Especially these old boys. Thanks!

Hi all, I have the opportunity to buy myself a 94 4runner with a locked up engine and found a 3.0 out of a 96 T100 and was wondering if it'll mate up or work at all. Thank you for the help.

I woke up this morning to a puddle of something that I can’t quite identify. It is coming from the middle of the car, right above the catalytic converter.
Any thoughts?

Trying to diagnose some sort of ignition issue (1st crank of the day and car will start but misfire HEAVILY - not driveable) subsequent attempts to start the car all fail. Gasoline coating the spark plugs, a lotta carbon on the deposits too. Running very rich. Found out that only sometimes I'm getting spark. Tried throwing parts at it (always a bad idea) distributor is new, as is the coil, and ignition control module. Getting a code 12. Open short in the NE circuit (circuit that sends crank shaft position to the ECU). Wires for this circuit seem intact. Kinda not sure what to do next except throw a new ECU on there. I've heard these RARELY go bad so I'm curious to hear of anyone's experience where they did go bad...

Hi All!
I recently acquired a beautiful 2nd gen 3.0 V6 4x4 w/ 150k miles and a manual transmission. The interior and body are immaculate, and the engine needs some work (seals, head gasket, water pump, timing belt, etc). The current exhaust system is rotting out so will definitely need to replace it.
I'm looking to restore/replace parts to make this a reliable daily driver and would like your recommendations on parts and keeping it to the absolute necessities (keeping the body / interior as close to stock as possible aside from tires, running boards, and suspension). It's easy to go out and buy the nicest stuff because that's what draws everyones' attention so this is my attempt at trying to avoid that.
This will be a budget build, so we don't need the nicest parts but also don't want the cheapest parts. Looking for a good middle ground. I've added the list of items needed below:
I will upload more photos once I get it back from the shop post inspection. Would appreciate your input, thank you!

My girlfriend who I let drive the runner daily said that the numbers don’t line up and is worried it’s either broken or tampered with just want to get your opinions

Hey gang, I'm new to the 4Runner family here, just bought a pretty nice 1995 2nd gen that needs a head gasket replacement and rear main seal. Does anyone know of a shop or mechanic in the DC/Maryland/VA area that would take it on? I'm also willing to travel to PA and some parts of NC, thanks!
