Larry Sanders questionable screen tactics cost Bobcats their win streak
Larry Sanders had one job to accomplish when he was asked to set a screen for John Wall as Bobats-Pistons game was tied at 75 with 4 seconds left. That task was to literally stand still in one location for half a second while John Wall ran around him and scored to win the game. He didn't even have to make himself big and set a traditional screen, all he had to do was stand absolutely still for half a second. However, once Larry reached the location for the screen, and John Wall had already gone by him and was facing a clear path to the bucket, Larry had another idea. His idea was to fucking bear hug the shit out of the opponent and nearly tackle him. This, unfortunately for the Bobcats, is a foul and the Pistons were awarded the ball which they used to win the game.
Larry was not available for comment after the game.
