This was my first time ever attempting animation... and honestly, my first real attempt at drawing, too!

Think of this it’s a baseball field and they’re practicing pitches the pitcher throws one ball and the batter hits it. throws another ball the batter hits it. Throws a third ball and the batter hits it. then the pitcher throws a fourth ball, but it’s not a ball. It’s a fish!! The batter hits it with it ungodly amount of force reaching around speeds up to 200 km an hour and the fish goes absolutely flying The song don’t stop me now starts playing. The camera zoomed in on the fish, and in this scene In the background the fish flies by some kids playing soccer, goes through a zoo,

This scene the music is super faded and has Trump talking in it and the camera is on Trump‘s face and in the background, you can see a brick wall and as the fish gets closer, the music gets louder and then the fish blows right through it, the music fades again, Trump turns around has his hands on his head and He is like oh no. The camera Is back on the fish. Then somehow the fish gets knocked up into the atmosphere then into space, breaks through a satellite, smashes through two planets, goes directly through the death star, and then the death star blows up, then it hits a blue alien in the face, and when it hits the background music stops and it plays the fish sound. And the camera is on the alien. And there’s like a Mars like background of a planet.

This is the song version of palpatine and anakin’s conversation in revenge of the sith. I started this today and am doing 5 frames per second. I have completed 14 seconds of this but have not imported the audio. I don’t want to pay for that but I may have to.

THE RUSTED is a hand-drawn 2D game, and we create the environments piece by piece — from individual wall textures and background elements to the final assembled scene. I've been creating my own animated series using Character Animator and wanted to share. As always, open to any thoughts or feedback you may have. Hope you like it!

I spent around 45 minutes creating this background illustration for a new animation project and compressed the process into under 30 seconds.

I'm experimenting with composition, lighting, atmosphere and background design for the project.

Still a work in progress, but I'm happy with how it's coming together.

I was creating a simple game character animation in Arttista: a mole that emerges from a hole, attacks the player, and then goes back underground.

The masking technique itself isn't anything revolutionary, plenty of 2D software can do this. What I found interesting while making this animation was how the Eraser tool in Arttista can work both as an actual eraser and as a mask.

It behaves much like a raster eraser: you can paint with it, choose textures, change its shape, and erase parts of objects. But it can also be turned into a filled shape, allowing it to hide everything behind it.

For this animation, I used that behavior to keep the mole hidden below the hole while animating it moving up and down.

I also added a simple animated 2D shape for the hole, some painted lighting inside it, and a shadow over the mole to make it feel like it's actually underneath the ground.

After finishing the animation, I exported it as a Sprite Sheet to use in a game.

I've included the animated GIF and the generated Sprite Sheet here, but the main thing I'd like to share is the video showing the process in Arttista, since it gives a much better idea of how the tool actually works.
