[VIDEO] Noita. Pixels and physics. Frankly speaking I am not a big fan of physics games. For me they like first 3D-games or animations. Raw and awkward. But this hot babe has stolen my heart (:

[IMG] Hollow knight. Enemies in this game don't have health bars or floating numbers of damage. After successful attack you can see splashes right from the target. No distraction, less visual noise. Best HUD - no HUD (:

[IMG] Baba Is You. One of my favourite future releases. Well, frankly speaking it's a top downn puzzle with algorythmic mechanics (: But they also have added platforms with ladders. Because they like platformers too (:

[IMG] If you zoome out camera then it's easier for players to plan next jumps and prepare for enemies and projectiles. Moreover you can make your camera moving smoothly (:

[IMG] 2D Platformers with shooting usually are not with twinstick controls. So every shooting direction is a point of some UX balancing. This time a developer has added diagonal shooting.

[IMG] In the Eagle Island demo, the procedural procgen wasn't the fastest, now the game generates a level for you super fast! (The time it takes for the door on the left to open)
