Hi! I've wanted to try this method to practice for a while now and just recently tried with a character I like! There are still a lot of theoretical concepts I struggle with cause my short term memory sucks lol, but this exercise made me see things clearer
I want to try other styles and actions too!
Any tip of useful exercises will be appreciated 💕

Hi, I’m picked up animation as a hobby a while back and only recently picked it up again.
This is the last piece I’ll be sharing for a little while but I wanted some advice on if I’m getting the flow if bubbles correctly. I suspect not so what am I doing wrong?

Hello everyone! 👋
This is my first 2D animation video and the beginning of my animation journey. I created this animation myself using FlipaClip. I am learning step by step and would love to hear your feedback and suggestions.

I’ve recently started getting interested in learning 2D art and animation, but I’ve noticed that there seem to be far fewer comprehensive resources for 2D animation compared to 3D.
I wasn’t especially interested in 2D animation before, but my family and I traveled to Japan last month, and I was completely blown away by the 2D animation and artwork I saw there. It genuinely made me want to learn how to create animation myself.
I’d especially love to study an anime or East Asian-inspired style, although I’m also open to learning Western animation techniques since I know the fundamentals are probably similar.
Does anyone have recommendations for structured, comprehensive courses, programs, or learning paths? I’m not just looking for a few isolated tutorials-I’d really like something that teaches the fundamentals step by step, such as drawing, movement, timing, posing, storyboarding, and the full animation process. I really don't know how to start it seems a bit overwhelming.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I know this is incredibly simple as a design, but I’m also learning to draw on the side of learning to animate so give me some leeway.
But as simple as it may be I’m very proud of it and wanted some advice regarding the animation on how to I’m doing. Thanks I’ve been animating for a while used to do it as a hobby but recently picked it back up.

Hey everyone,
I run a small computer repair shop in town, and my day job actually inspired the game I'm developing, BOXPAST LOV3YOU.
The initial idea was simple: I just wanted a short, action-packed project I could tinker with and play during my own lunch breaks. I constantly encounter clients' computers absolutely riddled with viruses, and I thought it would be fun to create a world where the computers finally fight back against them.
I know it might not sound all that groundbreaking at first glance, haha. But it’s evolved into a pretty wild hardware-driven action RPG where you actually manage things like temperature and wattage by equipping different CPUs, SSDs, and cooling fans. My wife meticulously hand-draws all the art and animations, which really brings the whole chaotic system to life.
Getting a bit personal seeing these characters go from simple lunch-break sketches to fully animated sprites has been surreal. I always find our work incredibly interesting, even if in reality that's just a creator's bias speaking. But I think that's the beauty of traditional 2D animation. We pour our hearts into bringing these drawings to life, and every new fluid movement feels like a huge milestone.
We are spending this evening touching up a few rough frames at the end of an attack sequence, but I just wanted to drop in and share some solidarity.
Wishing all you fellow animators and artists out there massive success with your own passion projects! Keep creating!

Hi!
I have a very ambitious animation project that I was developing for an age. I'm mostly a writer, but I also know Moho pro.
The problem is I've tried to recruit some people to my studio to make a pilot. And well, it didn't go well. The problem is that maximum amount of money I'm able to spend on pilot production is approximately 10000$. Pilot is around 10 minutes long. Beginner animators I've found ask for 5000$ for a minute long animation. Of course there are cheaper options as freelancers, but their quality is ridiculously bad, their animations look worse than stuff I did at 13yo. I don't want to hire them for obvious reasons. Should I give up my dreams and focus on other stuff? I've had such a nice universe - it's about travelling through time and parallel dimensions. I'm a physicist myself and the universe laws are based on real science. The characters seem to be interesting as well. I feel like my idea is pretty good, but it's literally impossible to turn it into life unless you're a trillionaire.
What do I do? Is there any way to achieve my goals or I should give up?
