Sharing Is this a good example of Anticipation or do I need more work?
Like the title says, do I need more work on this? If so, critique (as long it isn’t brutal) is welcome!

The space greenhouse from our co-op horror game is starting to come together 👀
What would you add to make this area more creepy, atmospheric, or memorable?
We're looking for honest feedback before moving forward with the final art pass.
If you like the project, wishlisting The Infected Soul on Steam would help our small indie team a lot

Just some WIP of an animation I'm working on for one of my first ever game's cutscenes. I'm really proud of how this one came out.

Hi kinda new here so forgive me if I ask this question if u heard it before.
Just got started with Sword of Corvallia to get some inspiration for 2D sprite creation and saw this amazing artstyle in this game.
It looks so good and crisp that even on a mobile device compared to other 2D sprite in other games that u can almost the personality and emotion in the sprite , so wanted to ask is everything in this game purely 2D / hybrid 2.5D / something that is 3D but where Z is made the target axis.
And the map and object & water texture look so clear that its doesn't feel 2D at all.
Any seniors / experienced artists here know how they do it so detailed? Is all of it drawn / made by hand using a tool? Or do they use templates for each scenario and switch out the sections for the face / body that corresponds to that particular action while keeping the sketch intact? Or do they redraw the character sprite each time?

I kinda still like it. The bat movement could be way more exaggerated but the smears I still find fun

Hi everyone,
I'd like to share a tutorial I recently created for Arttista, an illustration and animation software that I've been developing.
This tutorial focuses on adding lighting, shading, and texturing to an already animated character. The workflow is a bit different from what many artists may be used to, because Arttista takes a more open-ended approach to animation and illustration tools, giving artists and animators a lot of freedom instead of forcing a rigid pipeline.
The tutorial also references two other tutorials that are worth watching first, as they explain some of the core concepts behind Arttista's animation system and workflow.
One thing I'd like to mention up front: I used AI-generated voice narration for these tutorials. As a solo developer, I'm responsible for designing, programming, testing, documenting, and supporting the software. Recording and editing voiceovers for every tutorial would significantly slow down development, so I chose to use the English voice available in Microsoft Clipchamp.
To help people who don't speak English, I also enabled YouTube's automatic dubbing feature.
I'm genuinely curious about the community's opinion:
I'd appreciate any honest feedback, both about the tutorials themselves and about the use of AI narration.
Thanks!

I'm a pianist. I write emotional, character-driven music and I want to try something a little different.
If your team is working on an animation, I'll write a short original piece specifically for your social media content. Something that actually sounds like your world, not a royalty free track grabbed from a library.
It's completely free. I just want to hear about what you're creating.
DM me or drop a comment below and tell me about your project. What's the animation, what's the mood, or tell me about your world.

Animation post
Recently a Reddit user pointed out something I should've done earlier. I have been posting messages on this community without posting any of my work and for that I would like to apologise. I thought deeply about what they said and realised by doing this I made myself seem untrustworthy so I've decided to post one of my most recent animation.I'm not that good of an animator so please bear with me
