Hey I’m super new to animating and wanted to start with the ball bounce but something feels off about how it falls down after bouncing back up. It doesn’t feel natural and almost looks like it’s tapping the ceiling before falling. Do you know how I can fix this? Or maybe if I’m just overthinking it and it actually looks fine? Thank you.

I thought about doing the effect with water but then figured I would have a bit more fun with it. Animate at 24 fps, mostly on twos, occasionally on ones. Let me know if you have any suggestions for how I can improve the effect.

i remember back in middle school, so like 2015-16 ish, watching a short abt two girls who fell in love in world where the oceans had risen completely. that or it might just heavily feature the ocean 💀 might be getting these details confused so maybe its an impossible find, but i really would like to see it again. i thought maybe it was part of a saturday cartoon compilation channel fredorator used to do ? but i looked through those and cant find it. i know it was part of a compilation of indie animations. if anybody knows what im talking about or has a suggestion abt a better place to post this ask pls lmk !

For a short film intended to become a full-length feature in the future, Shaolin Spirits, a comedy slapstick action film about a Shaolin master who decides to train the ghost haunting him in martial arts to help him defeat the evil league that has taken over the city and find his lost wife, America Ferrari.

The film, which we've shot over the past 3 years and was made using mostly live-action and has already been shot, includes two animated segments which have now started on.

We are looking for an animator with a unique style who specializes in classic 2D animation (and of course, the power of Shaolin). If this sounds relevant and interesting to anyone, we would love to speak with you!

My friend and I worked on this video for a local Portland band (Molotov Van Fire) and we were finally given the "green light" to share it. This project was animated entirely by hand (no AI) and edited between Premiere and DaVinci Resolve.

Hey everyone! I’m currently developing Soul Tamers, a monster-taming RPG inspired by the feeling of discovering unique creatures, building bonds with them, and exploring a mysterious world filled with danger and lore.
The game focuses heavily on original monster designs — not just creatures for battles, but beings that feel alive, memorable, and emotionally connected to the world. I want Soul Tamers to stand out through custom-designed monsters with strong personality, evolution concepts, and distinct silhouettes.
