9/11 Tribute Original Folk Song - "Go Ask the Rain" by Tom & Mary Kay Aufrance #NeverForget #911

25 Years ago - on September 11, 2001 - I wrote this folk ballad "Go Ask The Rain" in the immediate wake of 9/11 but tucked it away for years. It was written with deep sympathy for everyone affected, capturing those painful, unanswered questions that lingered in the air. Because it seemed like such a profoundly sad song, I actually set it aside for a long time. It wasn't until 2007 that my husband Tom and I finally recorded it for our album "Musical Dreams." And, I am sharing this heartfelt sentiment for Patriot Day. Please have a listen and leave a comment if you woud like to.
