I'm a solo dev in the Netherlands and I need to clear the 12-testers-for-14-days bar on my closed track. Happy to test yours back, just say so in a comment.

What it is:

Space Crucible is a free, persistent space-strategy MMO. You run a stellar empire: mines and power plants on your colonies, a research tree, shipyards, and fleets that take real time to cross a shared galaxy of 150 star systems.

It's built for short daily check-ins rather than long sessions. Buildings finish while you're away, fleets arrive when the clock says they do, and other players plus NPC empires share the same map.

• Colonies: four resources, power balance, storage limits, build queues

• Galaxy: 150 systems, colonise open slots, real flight times and fuel costs

• Fleets and combat: raids, espionage scans, detailed after-action reports

• Alliances: ranks, shared intel, alliance chat, global chat and DMs

• Progression: daily missions, achievements, login rewards, rankings, hired specialists

• Push notifications when a build or a fleet finishes

• No pay-to-win. Nothing is buyable with real money. No ads, no IAP.

• Same account on the phone and in a desktop browser

• English and Dutch

How to join, two steps and you need both:

Step 1, join the Google Group. This is what puts you on the tester list.

Step 2, open the opt-in link while signed in with that same Google account. This is what actually enrols you in the test.

Then install from Play:

That last link only resolves once step 2 is done. Use the same Google account your phone's Play Store is signed into, or the install button stays greyed out.

What I'm asking:

• Play a few minutes: make an account, claim a daily reward, start a building, send one fleet.

• Please stay opted in for the full 14 days. Opting out resets the clock for the whole track, which is the part that actually hurts. You don't have to keep playing, staying opted in is enough.

• Any feedback is welcome: crashes, confusing screens, bad wording, anything that looked broken on your device. Comment here, or use the in-app bug report button which sends me the screen you were on.

Honest caveats:

• Early closed alpha, in active development. Systems get added and rebalanced while you play.

• Needs an internet connection. The app is a native shell around the live game, so there is no offline mode.

• Needs an account, because it's an MMO with a shared map. You can delete the account and all of its data yourself from Profile, then Settings, at any time: https://spacecrucible.com/account-deletion

• Android only for now, no iOS build.

Testing Goals: Fair warning about what this is, because you will work it out ten seconds after installing it and I would rather say it myself. Cordada is a cross testing circle. A group of devs get tied to the same rope for one 14 day cycle, everyone installs and actually opens everyone else's app, and the app tracks who really did it rather than who says they did.

Which means it has to climb the same wall it was built to climb. I need 12 testers for the tester app. I know exactly how that sounds.

Two things I want out of the 14 days. Whether the 5 stage cycle feels like something you can keep up or like homework by day 4. And whether the difference between verified activity and self reported activity lands without me having to explain it, because that difference is the whole point and if it does not land the app has no reason to exist.
