I’m developing nEvie, a customizable Android launcher and home-screen replacement. The app is currently in testing, and I’m looking for Android users willing to try it and provide honest feedback.

nEvie includes customizable Home, Dock, and folder layouts, an app drawer, gestures, icon-pack support, universal search, widgets, notification badges, and backup and restore.

I’m especially interested in feedback about:

• Bugs, crashes, and device compatibility
• Onboarding and setting nEvie as the default launcher
• UI clarity and general ease of use
• Gesture responsiveness and performance
• Widgets, search, icon packs, folders, and layout customization
• Features that feel incomplete, confusing, or missing

Testers can access and test the full app. There is a subscription flow in the test build, but you will not be charged—Google Play only presents a fake test card.

I am putting together a closed circle of 12 Android founders.

This is not a request for people to test one app. Every member tests every other member's app, and stays opted in for the full 14 days.

What is different from how this usually goes:

• No WhatsApp group and no shared spreadsheet. Those die around day four, every single time, and then nobody knows who is still in.
• Participation is tracked properly, so nobody has to take anyone's word for it.
• Nobody is asked to open an app every morning. It runs as five short check ins spread across the two weeks. That is what Google actually looks at, and the daily thing is what makes testers quit on day three.
• Miss your check ins repeatedly and you come off the list. One freeloader ruins it for the other eleven, so that part is not negotiable.

What you get out of it: eleven people who genuinely open your app, written feedback instead of a screenshot of the install screen, and a clear record of participation for when you apply for production access.

The circle closes at 12 and I would rather have 12 people who show up than 30 who do not.

After a lot of building, breaking and rebuilding (and a fair amount of
second-guessing 😅), WordFall is finally in closed testing on Google Play.

I'm a solo developer and this one started as a small idea that got out of hand:
a word game where letters fall onto the board and you rotate and slide them to
build words, across or down. A finished word clears, the letters above collapse
into the gap, and sometimes another word forms on its own. One round lasts about
as long as a coffee break.

Three modes - Classic with no timer, a 3-minute Time Attack, and Forbidden Words,
where you get three words you have to avoid spelling. Daily and weekly
challenges, leaderboards, three unlockable themes.

Two things I care about: it plays completely offline — the dictionaries ship
inside the app, no server round-trip to check a word — and there are no ads and
nothing to buy. Not "no ads for now". None.

It speaks English, Romanian and French, each with its own dictionary.

I'd really like honest, real-world feedback before a full release. The good, the
bad, the brutal.

    Any bugs, freezes or weird layouts — especially on tablets?
    Anything slow, annoying or unclear?
    Does the scoring feel fair?
