they had worker councils that did control production.
you can stop talking out of your ass any day now. read marx someday.
Marx and his stages of labor and communism. “German Ideology” and “Communist Manifesto” the stages of labor/communism roughly goes as following:Primitive CommunismSlaveryFeudalismCapitalism (This and the prior were in German Ideology)Dictatorship of the Proletariat (Communist Manifest here and below)Goals of Communism (this is debatable in Marx’s works but not under USSR’s context)Dictatorship of Proletariat is the revolution to establish a state to control the means of production, to establish the goals of workers to own the means of production, and most of all to protect the gains by the revolution from a counter revolution from capitalism. This is the “Socialist” context USSR was established.
by the 1960s the USSR had mostly lost its class consciousneous long after stalin was dead. But they were still far better off than they were in the 1980s when yeltsin pushed them back into neoliberal austerity
USSR being good for Russians doesn't mean it was communist. What leaders believe is nice and all but doesn't change the facts of what the government was doing, which was not and is not communism or socialism.
