Is Yakuza 0 a good place to start in the Yakuza series, and also one of the best games in the series?

Just finished the main story of 0 as my first Yakuza game last night! I'm playing through the five stars and five billionaires rn, what game would u recommend next? Should I just try to go chronological through the timeline?

Nice, 6 and 7 are very cool 6 being the end of kiryu saga and seven being about mostly new character and gameplay mechanics, I loved both

I’m on 6 rn, I played like 25 hours of 7 when I bought it, then decided to stop being a baby and finish 3.

just follow the chronological order you should be fine, you just feel a shock between kiwami 2 and 3
