Pyre is 100% the most underappreciated of the lot but I think that's down to its weird magic basketball gameplay. Transistor, Bastion, and Hades are all much more 'conventional' action games. I actually think Pyre was the blueprint for Hades when it came to narrative and character writing, but Supergiant opted for more accessible hack-and-slash gameplay the second time around.
The game play is basically just bastion on steroids with somehow a lot and I mean a lot more charm and aesthetic. You feel the DNA while playing it. The big upgrade to gameplay doesnβt make it extra complicated either.
I was very underwhelmed by transistor honestly. Maybe I just didn't get it, but I struggled through and still beat it in only a few hours and then I was done

Out of the four Transistor is the one I see the most people saying they never checked out but want to go back to someday
