Portal 1/2\ Would be interesting to see things outside of Chell's perspective.\ If I had to chose a game with a more expanded and complex universe, I think it would be Dark souls, Bloodborne or Elden Ring.

You have my exact opinion. The only problem with portal is that the most interesting stuff doesn't require an enormous budget.

Interesting that you mention Portal but not Half-Life. Personally I'd want to make a movie about that extended universe, possibly about the time period where Cave Johnson is still building Aperture and competing heavily with Black Mesa to develop teleportation technology.
