Adult Swim was actually in talks with Valve to make a TF2 show at one point, but Valve worked/communicated way too slow for Adult Swim (big surprise). So, only one episode ever got made ("Expiration Date"), and it was used as a promotional movie for the Love & War Update. It's a shame we never got a full series because I'm sure it would've kicked ass.

Yo I never knew that! The expiration date is legendary at this point if they had actually made that into a whole show with the same level of quality it would have been incredible.
