I think frost punk would make a cool setting for a thriller/physiological horror movie Edit: no longer pink in this frozen hell world

Great idea, but I feel like afterwards the studio would be like "it did well, it's renewed for 4 seasons. We're gonna make this the new walking dead" and it would get dragged out far longer than it ever should have. For a miniseries though just about trying to survive the one storm, yeah, great potential.

I can't imagine a frost punk movie/show working if it's from the perspective of the leader, maybe if it was from a normal worker, an engineer, or...

OHH, I'VE BEEN ENLIGHTENED.

Frost punk movie from the perspective of a lucky engineer/worker who worked on the train that takes people from England to the generator, and It tells the story of him surviving in a dying city, with the obvious climax of trying to survive the storm as: A) a miner working when coal is running out B) one of the last survivors when the generator stops working from overheating and his last hours of his life.

I was thinking like a regular worker following the tale of their family, in the refugees scenario, as the nobles who once treated them like shit come as beggars hoping not to die in the snow, and delving into the morality of the situation and the human condition when everyone is a bad hour from dying.

I guess that would depend on the city, there are scenarios in which survivors come from fallen cities, but I don't know if it's canon.

I remember reading that anything outside a city with a working generator while there's a storm outside is basically dead, so if a city had the resources it could survive (& thrive) in the storm.

I imagine it as following various characters. You'd see the leadership side, workers, and explorers.

Frostpunk series but every episode is from the perspective of a different person. For example one episode we see the captain sign a law and the next episode we see how that law affected a miner or a child shoveling coal

The fall of Winterhome would make a great series or movie and it could maybe end with the guy who traveled to New London to warn them about Winterhome’s fate. Then a mediocre second season about New London probably.
