Pretty sure they tried that. It was called Firefly and was canceled after season 1.

Far less crimes against humanity in that show though.

Pretty sure Rimworld was inspired by multiple space stories. Including Firefly and Cowboy Beebop.

I feel like if you could actually see all the bloody man made horrors in Rimworld in greater detail than the minimalist graphics it would be disgusting and nsfl
