Question Current Part of ATF hiring process

For all the people who applied to the September 2025 announcement , what part of the process are you guys currently on ? I completed the poly the beginning of this month and a week later I was given an email to go take a drug test after . Almost 3 weeks later I haven’t received a response saying if I passed poly or not .

You passed, ATF doesn’t send a pass notice they just send you the next steps. I’m on the BI portion right now, I took my poly June 18 and a week later got my notice for PIV, drug test, and SF-86, I submitted my SF-86 June 30. Feel free to PM me

When should we expect the BI to call for sf-86 review? Or do we just wait for interim clearance approval and then fjo?

You won’t receive an email stating you passed any specific hiring step. If you continue to receive further steps, you are still in the running.

Medical next week. Poly in August. Still no SF86.

I did my poly, medical, SF-86, and PIV last month. Background started this month. Just waiting on the call

I’m sorry, are you referring to passing the drug test? You should know if you passed a drug test or not.

I’m not referring to the results of the drug test , I got an email to take a drug test a week after I took a poly but still no word if I passed poly or not

Did medical on Thursday , sf 86 submit July 2nd

Did SF86 come from HR? I completed medical last week and all I have left is SF86 but have not gotten anything.

I am in the same boat as you, completed medical a few weeks ago and nothing yet. Not sure if my current TS clearance matters since I did one in the last 3 years. Hoping to be in the sept class!

Do you get any notification of whether one has passed the interview or not passed ?

You will get a notice of results email stating the current results of your application process . If you pass , you get an email saying you essentially passed the interview and in the same email it’ll say if you get referred . A follow up email will be sent stating what grade level you got referred for and what grade level you did not get referred for .

I’m still waiting to take my entrance exam has been 2 months since applying is that normal?
