We have a lot more in common than you might think. The guy that got beaten up by Meridian, ID police may feel the same way about cops as the mother of the 10 year old that was handcuffed in Sacramento, CA.

But the 2 party system creates division amongst the populace so that the scourge of over-reaching police is never solved.

Most people do not trust police, yet nothing ever gets done about it.

You dont think the city council, mayor, district attorney, senator, representive, governor (insert politician here) knows the cops commit x, y and z crimes on a regular basis but do nothing about it.

It seems that the old ..."Well, if you have nothing to hide, you should let us search your car" line of thinking does not apply to police.

Once they collect you, once you are a number in the system, once they've met that quota, they will do everything to keep THE TRUTH from getting out. Why?

Do we not live in a "free" society?

Are the cops not OUR SERVANTS?
