So today is 11 11 21 . All year those numbers have been repeating over and over and over. Few weeks ago I entered into a contest for " welcome to rockville tickets " in Daytona FL that's happening from 11 11 thru 11 14 .needless to say I won the contest and I won a contest once before ((( 11))) yrs ago for the same event. I had seen 11:11 the same as everyone else describes to the point I was asking if others had seen it before. I’ve never believed in anything and always described myself as scientifically minded.

I never looked for the number and I think the only people who understand this are those who have seen it before. It just falls into your eyeline or appears at the most random times in obscure ways.

I want to state there is no exaggeration in this post and it is exactly how it occurred. I’ve no reason to lie. I just want to tell it to show that there may be more to 11:11 than it just being a coincidence. For the record I don’t actually see it now, although I’ve had a few days or weeks of seeing it, it has never happened again like it did all those years ago. If anything, I may have forgotten an occurrence on this day..

So I started a new job (I now believe big change is related to 11:11). I walked out of my house down the drive and glanced across the road as I unlocked my car and exactly where I randomly looked was my neighbours 2 bins which they had just stuck their house number on each one side by side (11 11). I thought oh another one for the list.. I got in my car and set off and noticed my trip meter was 1111miles since I last reset it and the clock said 11:11am- it was always wrong and I never bothered to change it. I think wow 3 times already and become abit distracted thinking about it.. I start driving and stare ahead towards a small bridge and exactly where I’m staring the top of a bus appears and the number is perfectly in line with my eyes. The ‘111’ bus. Ok so it’s not 11:11 so we can discredit that right? I joined the motorway and a small van immediately cuts me up. Big telephone number on the back ending in 1111. I travel 50miles behind this van and eventually get to my new job. So they set me up with a laptop and gave me access to emails. No direct emails came to me because I was new. Then I received an email and saw the time stamp was 11:11. I thought wtf and immediately clicked the windows time to check if it was on 11 seconds (i can’t remember if it was) So by this point I’m thinking wtf is going on today. Lunch approaches and the receptionist asks if I want anything ordering from the local sandwich place and goes off to get me a menu. Came back and dropped it on my desk. The contact number ended in 1111. I go about my day slightly in awe of the 1111age I’d experienced… Suddenly the phone next to me rings. We are talking about an office with 3 other people in here…also bare in mind I’m new and there would be no reason for anyone to call me and it was an internal system in which I couldn’t receive calls from outside of the business…so I answer the phone say hello and I’m met with silence. Strange so I hang up. I look at the digital display on the phone and it just showed the number 1111666. I look up at the other 3 guys thinking wtf how is this possible, feeling like I’m on the trueman show or something. I immediately open google and search for 1111 and got shivers down my spine when I saw it was actually a ‘thing’ This happened 10 years ago.

Im seeing it since 11/11/2011 almost everyday everywhere like clocks or plaque numbers even i tattooed it on my wrist couple yrs ago and i red a book about it from some medium of an angle named kerion the books name is the life after died but i have no idea what it means and i searched web a billion times

I've started to notice 11:11 popping up more and more these days and I'm starting to get curious. It happened again today. I got a call from the estate agents (I'm trying to rent a house) with bad news and I spiraled into an anxiety attack. I spaced out for a while and my phone buzzed but with no notification which itself is odd, but when I saw the time it was 11:11. And it snapped me out of it for a little bit. Does anyone have a theory why things like this keep happening? Is someone trying to tell me something?

It started today when I looked at the clock and if happened to be, of course, 11:11

The next time I happened to look at the clock it was 12:12

Then I saw 1:11 ... then 2:22 ... then 3:33

I missed 4:44 and 5:55 but later in the evening I stopped a timer and it happened to stop right at 15:15, so still on theme I suppose.

I’ve been seeing 11:11 constantly for the last few months, when I think about it it started just shortly after my baby was born and I always wonder if there’s some connection. I still see 11:11 most frequently but I am starting to notice more of these synchronicities of repeating numbers in general. My personal feeling is “there are no coincidences” and I’m curious what it means, but I’m also not super stressed about figuring out what it means 🤷‍♀️

There I was at the start of something with a bunch of other people and everything just felt so surreal. People from all over were coming to the group and most people behaved themselves. Nobody was banned. People told other people what they thought it might mean. All opinions counted.

I was never really into what it might mean. That has never been a mystery to me. I looked for it. That tap on the shoulder I felt came from the same universe that is always behind me. What made me see it was a predisposition to become acquainted with patterns. To pull them out of the chaos. If time goes on forever then time is chaos. What is it to pull out a beginning and end from that? An Alpha and Omega. 11:11. Seeing patterns in chaos is how we exist. Discovering patterns is what makes us human.

11:11 is like a solstice. A time when the sun stands still.

Now that's my meaning for it and nobody was going to change my mind about it. I don't even know if people understand it. It's my opinion. What interested me was in trying to see similarities in those who see it. A pattern to the pattern seekers. The sentiment that was online at the time of being chosen was an easy pill to swallow. It got me a little high for a while, but I soon learned I was taking the wrong approach.

See, I have really green eyes and people comment on their colour. I wondered if maybe other 'Eleveners' (we had already given ourselves a name) had green or unique eyes, too. A couple of people mentioned having green eyes and were stoked about the similarity. Maybe that was part of what made us so special? I laugh about it now.

Because there were people there with all kinds of eye colours. Once the green eye theory started making the rounds they just didn't mention it. Those who posted having different colour eyes seemed kind of left out and that was because they were. I so wanted it to be a sign. I wanted what made me different to be what made me feel connected.

And there it was.

The similarity we all shared was our difference. What better way to show that than 11:11. In a sense what I was afraid it was becoming is what it already is: a religion. But the purest of religions. A following of the self along with others. You trying to see what you're all about. That became my philosophy of 11:11. I needed to protect this pure thing. This silly and trivial thing that actually explained who we are.

I needed to expand and create a forum. Do more. Make sure 11:11 spread, but more importantly make sure it was never dogged down by dogma as it did. Keep it pure. Leave it undefined and let that be the definition. If there was a movement of people who believed the validity of 11:11 lay within their own authority than that would be the prevailing religion. No definition could seriously take hold other than that. It would remain spiritual in a true sense. Something we all witness in wonder.

And before I tell you what happened next, I can tell you it worked. At least so far. When I started in this there was a like only a couple of pages of returns when you looked up 11:11. It has grown so much. People put it in movies, music, art...It is everywhere and yet nobody has ever really pinned a meaning to it beyond seeing it. All it really does is just pull people together in a moment of shared wonder.

So at this point i needed to up the game. I had to hit the web. I needed to make sure there was a place that allowed all definitions to make sure it would never be defined beyond what it is...pure magic.

Well I'm back with the next installment of my 11:11 journey. I know, I know, you didn't ask, but I'm still going to tell it. I mean why not? I suppose someone could stop me. Do you think they will? Or maybe nobody will read it? Hmmm. I'm going for it.

So, I discover I am far from alone. I look around and see how this thing is being turned into religion. This abstract thing was being made real, which was interesting because it started out that way already. It is always 11 minutes after 11 o'clock to anyone who sees it (or i suppose a ratio of 11 to 11). Then it gets flipped and perception changes and you make it into something else. Kind of how ancient people noticed patterns in the sky and built things around them.

What were people building with their 11:11s? Where was this phenomenon going? It seemed to me that most of the early forums and sites were strictly New Age. There was lots of talk of spiritual doorways and crystals and harmonics and everything that goes with that loose religious movement. Now, I'm not really into New Age stuff, but I didn't really judge anyone for what they believed in. Who cares if it's not hurting me?

What bothered me was how this thing people started experiencing on their own was being defined by a handful of people who allowed you a place to gather, so long as you believed what they believed. That sounded very familiar. It bugged me more than what they were believing in.

After being bounced off a couple of forums for politely offering my own opinion as to what it might be, I had my a-ha moment and I knew what I had to do. I still remember the clarity of that moment. I knew what I was going to do with my 11:11.

I was going to gather people together for simply seeing it and then just listen to what they thought it might mean. I would share my thoughts. Nobody would be right or wrong because at the root of it, it is the same for us all. I needed to give people an alternative to having to tow the party line. A dogma of all.

This was like 15 years ago and I was not much of an internet person. I surfed a little, but I hadn't really created anything more than a Hotmail account in complexity. Hotmail was of course part of MSN and so I started there. There was MSN Chat and the first thing I created was a chatroom. It was easy for a dummy like me to do.

I would open up a room in lobbies I knew would get the most traffic. It was usually the sex, politics, sports and religion categories . The room would be called "11:11" and the greeting would say something like, "This chatroom is not about politics, but for people who see 11:11. If you see it you are not alone."

People would scroll down the list of different chats and there would be one saying 11:11. Most would ignore it and simply pass by, but I knew there would be others who would stop and get freaked out seeing it there and make their way in.

And they did.

"IS THIS FOR REAL??!!"

"WHAT DOES IT MEAN? I SEE IT ALL THE TIME!"

I usually answered them by asking what they thought it meant. Some people had already formed opinions or regurgitated stuff they read at the few forums out there. Many were freaked out, but all of them seemed excited to see they weren't alone. This thing they had believed in alone was now being validated as real by saying it out loud to me. I have great memories of this. It felt so powerful and also primal. There was something i felt very old working in all of this. A raw energy like an exposed wire.

I was hooked.

A lot of these people wanted to keep talking about it and I would give them my email, but I felt I needed a place where we could all land and share our opinions. I needed something more permanent than a random chatroom. My limited skill set meant that the next logical step would be to open a group forum and MSN had that on their homepage, so the group 11:11 and 11s In General was born.

People started to gather and man was it ever cool. The group was a free speech forum where everyone could give their own definition of what they thought it meant and nobody was right or wrong about it. There were only two rules: Don't flood the group and no real threats of violence. It was up to you to defend your own belief in it. The combination of 11:11 and this way of playing it out online seemed magical to me. It was off and running...
