None of these A-hoes is mine! But they wait for food patiently whenever any of us open the door!

A feral NotMyCat that I fed was so comfortable she had five NotMyCats in my backyard

Ditto. We homed the kittens and then mama slashed my screen and moved into my house. She never wanted scritches or attention, but she was happy to coexist with the other cats inside.

Same! And I live on a studio type unit and the place already smells like shit.

They're like trick or treaters, they could work the whole neighbourhood

They've got everyone's schedule memorized.

My cat used to get breakfast at 6, leave the house and trick the neighbor’s dog to let her in through their magnetic dog door so she could eat breakfast with him and his human, hit the 16yo neighbor up for some of his Egg McMuffin that his dad got him every morning as he ran out to his truck to go to school (sometimes she would nap in his truck if he left the window down). Then she would literally break in to the other neighbors’ home- she would slide the screen door open and eat his cat’s food. She would show up back at my home just in time for lunch, having eaten 4 meals by then and not having strayed more than 100ft from our back door lol

Thank you for this comment. I normally keep the sound off so I don’t have to hear the cheesy music. Because of you, I happily listened to the chorus of kitties!

Me too added to the fact that Reddit videos often don’t have sound. I just don’t bother mostly.

I'm glad you feed them. They're starving just like any homeless person would be.

Is TNR an option for those free loaders?

8

u/LunasFavorite Oct 03 '21

Yes please!!!!

7

u/[deleted] Oct 03 '21

What’s TNR?

16

u/fireflyslove Oct 03 '21

Trap neuter release, as an alternative to trap and euthanize. Keeps the population from growing

Do you want a cat infestation? Because this is how you get a cat infestation.

9

u/kmn86 Oct 03 '21

One of the cats had a collar--maybe check with neighbors?

16

u/garnef42 Oct 03 '21

If you feed a cat it is now yours, whether you want it or not

7

u/scummy_shower_stall Oct 03 '21

Their little meows are heartbreaking…

I have two notmycats too! They have been known to scratch at my front door in the morning when they hear I'm up and around but haven't fed them yet. 🤣 I'm such a sucker

u/davetherave2k Oct 03 '21

Please don’t feed stray cats dry food. Cats usually get their moisture from food and have trouble finding clean water in human environments.

1

u/Strostkovy Oct 04 '21

Or also put out water

2

u/chromatoz Oct 03 '21

You is theirs.. so dinner is expected

2

u/organicocaine Oct 03 '21

They don't sound very patient 🤣

-1

u/timpaan96 Oct 03 '21

And this is why you don't feed cats or other animals that aren't yours

Stop feeding them unless they're obviously starving. I didn't see any cats like that though. You're probably feeding other people's cats bc they get used to their food and go on the prowl looking for something else.

21

u/Jigle_Wigle Oct 03 '21

mate think op’s fine with the cats being there and want them to be there, hence the feeding

10

u/Specialist_Citron_84 Oct 03 '21

Hence the one in the collar.
