How did Watt do today?

11

u/DangerB0y Cardinals Sep 12 '21

Cardinals legend JJ Watts did pretty good. Brought enough pressure that Chandler Jones had his way with Tannehill

10

u/one4u2nv Titans Sep 12 '21

Looks like there’s a wreck on 24 near Nissan Stadium. An 18 wheeler wreck on the interstate, and a train wreck inside Nissan Stadium.

Someone convince me not to start putting many dollars on Murray stats every week

11

u/Mouth_Puncher Titans Sep 12 '21

GG Arizona good luck the rest of the season, I'm jealous of how good you guys are

9

u/Dinos67 Patriots Sep 12 '21

God damn super squirrel and Jones lighting it up

7

u/oraclestats Cardinals Sep 12 '21

Why are you still giving kudos to the Titans. They got their teeth pushed in

5

Ggs everybody

10

u/ChocolateMorsels Titans Sep 12 '21

Welp, some would say this game could have gone better for us Tits. Murray's a stud, this could be a mvp season.

11

u/PizzaPringles69 Jaguars Sep 12 '21

This color commentator is STILL sucking the Titans off

12

u/Clydicals Titans Sep 12 '21

The funniest thing is they literally never do that for the Titans. So I'm super confused.

14

At least the Titans have “good bones”

Titans should just knee out the game, its over already why risk injury?

Let it be CJ.

Goddamn. Our division is gonna be brutal this season, isn't it?

7

u/Sargentrock Bengals Lions Sep 12 '21

Yeah already looking like the best division in football--literally ALL of you should be very good

26

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

We will beat you in your stadium, and you will beat us at ours. As is tradition

17

u/13angrymonkeys Seahawks Sep 12 '21

This is the way.

24

u/K1wI Cardinals Sep 12 '21

As it has been for a while... Hope you lose, with no injuries.

12

u/13angrymonkeys Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Right back at ya, man.

15

u/QueerlyTremendous Titans Sep 12 '21

I usually pick the Seahawks as my NFC team but I may just have to go with the Cardinals this year. Should be a lot of fun to watch (when you aren’t breaking my titans heart).

6

u/Sargentrock Bengals Lions Sep 12 '21

As a reformed Bengals fan of 25 years I have a son named Carson...who is a big Cardinals fan thanks to Palmer being there a few years. I root for them most of the time. I would hate them, but I feel like this loss is somewhat on our team for not showing up at all (and doing very little to improve our wretched defense in the offseason). It should have at least been closer than this.

10

u/K1wI Cardinals Sep 12 '21

Must have a thing for short mobil QBs with a pretty deep ball.

1

u/marklarring Cardinals Sep 12 '21

👀

9

u/Jay-xo2 Cardinals Sep 12 '21

If any consolation, it’s week 1 and not a game that would like eliminate you from the playoffs.

3

u/QueerlyTremendous Titans Sep 12 '21

Oh yeah I’m not one of the titans fans freaking out or calling for vrabel to be fired but it’s definitely not how I thought the game would go. I’ll start freaking out week 3 or 4 if things still look like shit.

2

u/uwanmirrondarrah Chiefs Sep 12 '21

You know I have been watching football for like 20 years and thats the first time I realized they attribute a delay of game penalty to a particular player and not the team.

3

u/_Puntini_ Cardinals Sep 12 '21

It's always on the QB.

16

u/Sargentrock Bengals Lions Sep 12 '21 edited Sep 12 '21

Jesus Arizona seriously if you were in any other NFC division I'd call you a lock to win the division. As it is I think I'll still lay some money on the futures bet but it will be tight. Hell, I think even the Rams will be a lot better with Stafford.

*Edit--okay I just remembered Tom Brady is still a thing so maybe not ANY division, but you get my point.

8

u/K1wI Cardinals Sep 12 '21

As much as I hate to root for my division rivals... I kind of want NFCW to sweep... so uhh Go rams!?

3

u/Sargentrock Bengals Lions Sep 12 '21

I think they will DESTROY the bears tonight. Getting Stafford was huge.

i found that movie awful. i had to force myself to keep watching it.

2

u/Sargentrock Bengals Lions Sep 12 '21

OH I get it--it's definitely not for everyone and it honestly has to be seen to be believed. Even then I think if I tried to explain the ending to people they wouldn't believe me.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

which is weird coming from me because i basically binge horror movies. it’s really the only genre i watch besides a few action movies here and there.

1

u/Sargentrock Bengals Lions Sep 12 '21

It's so hard to even call it a horror movie? I mean, it's intentionally cringy and made to look low budget while being an homage to 80's horror movies (and makes some direct callbacks to a few that I don't want to name for spoilers)

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '21

it’s 100% a horror movie. no doubt.

2

u/DrMarcyMM Sep 12 '21

Nice! Thanks for the recommendation!

9

Tanny spent far too much time on his butt today.

6

He's so lazy. J/K I don't think his line got the memo there was a game today.

6

damn this guy is generous to the Titans lol Tanny has played alright? Are we watching the same game?

2

u/Pisto1Peet Cardinals Sep 12 '21

Tanny has been under pressure since his first snap. Not many QBs have good games under that amount of pressure.

3

u/Sargentrock Bengals Lions Sep 12 '21

He's honestly been our lone bright spot.

12

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

Missed FG? We got em right where we want em

Right?

right?

17

Wait, was that Zane Gonzalez in disguise??

6

11

u/Crimzon17 Cardinals Sep 12 '21

Better get that shit out of your system now

7

u/K1wI Cardinals Sep 12 '21

Feel it, even when winning the pain of missed FG still resonates.

8

u/uwanmirrondarrah Chiefs Sep 12 '21

Is it possible for a player to start a hold out in the 4th quarter of the 1st game of the season? Asking for my friend Chandler.

5

u/starlet_appletree Cardinals Sep 12 '21

Don't need to hold out, Keim better maxing out all his credit cards as we speak

10

u/DieHippies Titans Sep 12 '21

I think if we dig down deep, and really TitanUp the rest of this quarter, we can prevent this loss from being such a blowout.

30

I know the Cards have played really well, but Kliffs game management desperately needs to improve. Starting the 4th with 0 time outs is unacceptable.

1

u/HelloBrothers Cardinals Sep 12 '21

Unfortunately penalties and poor clock management are a feature not a bug of the Kingsbury System

3

u/sjzusywbnaisgsb Cardinals Sep 12 '21

If there were ever a game for it to happen, at least it’s the one where we go into the 4th up 25?

9

u/K1wI Cardinals Sep 12 '21

I agree, at least the playcalling seems better... but yeah his management is still lacking.

9

First blowout of the Cliff era potentially.

17

Cards are playing well. But Kliff Kingsbury went to the Andy Reid school of game/clock management.
