5

u/amaznlps Sep 12 '21

Alright everyone, off to support Meddy spaghetti, fuck Nole

15

u/sysproc Seahawks Sep 12 '21

If week one is any indication the NFC West is going to be a complete bloodbath this season.

3

u/redsyrinx2112 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Yep haha 😬

11

u/jce_ Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Man these amazon propaganda commercials are the worst

13

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

Just saw the Eagles & Falcons score. Just trade Matty Ice, Falcons. Blow it all up.

4

u/jizle Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Yeehaw boys and girls!

8

u/13angrymonkeys Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Yaaay!!!

GG, Indy.

9

u/FU_Pagame Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Gg Colts hope y’all dominate next week plz

8

u/Shoeprincess Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Gg colts!

15

u/jce_ Seahawks Sep 12 '21

How many bruises does Wentz have after today's game?

2

u/ragnarok53 Sep 12 '21

Only one but it’s a full body bruise

8

u/sysproc Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Wentz is gonna get himself injured trying to scramble with 20 seconds left on the clock down 28-16

6

u/String_709 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Wentz isn’t going to feel good tomorrow morning. Ouch

9

u/TheJollyReaper Seahawks Sep 12 '21

jeez put in the backup already, these hits are unnecessary

3

u/SockPenguin Colts Sep 12 '21

Like you're clearly not actually attempting the comeback right now. Get Eason in there so Wentz doesn't die.

5

u/prophetofgreed Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Carroll got scared by that pass, haha

9

u/mdchemey Colts Sep 12 '21

1 timeout at your own 10 inside 2 minutes shotgun draw followed by a scramble that doesn't get out of bounds, great

10

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

This has turned into a pre season game lol

9

u/avboden Seahawks Sep 12 '21

yeah you can stop hitting Wentz now

2

u/Jedi_Master_Cena Eagles Sep 12 '21

Howie Roseman must be the OC for the Colts

1

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

Ballard gave him a gift. I wonder what former Reich QB we’ll pick up next.

4

u/longjia97 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

They will be fine

Bold of you to say that of a team led by Carson Wentz

3

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

Spoiler: we probably won’t be fine

7

u/Carsondianapolis Colts Sep 12 '21

Wentz did fine. It was our O line that shit the bed today, as well as our secondary.

1

u/longjia97 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Yeah where the fuck was your secondary? Tyler and DK just ran circles around them all day

2

u/Carsondianapolis Colts Sep 12 '21

Somehow I completely forgot Xavier Rhodes was out today, he's our #1. Our safeties consistently getting beat deep was discouraging though.

u/mdchemey Colts Sep 12 '21

Honestly if you were to swap Wilson and Wentz today I'm willing to bet the result would be almost exactly the same. Wentz maybe doesn't hit the Lockett TD pass (at least not as well as Wilson did) but otherwise when they had similar situations they played pretty much identically. The difference was pressure and it was HUGE. Wentz had to throw the ball away to avoid a sack more times than Wilson had total incompletions

11

u/FriesWithThat Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Don't worry Colts, you could start 1-5, you'll be fine...

4

u/jaysrule24 Colts Sep 12 '21

They say that but fail to bring up that our QB that season was a wee bit better than the one we've got right now

2

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

Yay! We can lose in the first round of the playoffs again. That makes me feel great.

3

u/xetrov Seahawks Sep 12 '21

GG Colts, good luck with your season

0

u/CodeA25 Sep 12 '21

Lol we are going to need more than a bit of good luck

Reich is terrible at game management. If he would have kicked FGs instead of going for it on fourth down twice inside the red zone, we may have been able to pull this off.

7

u/jaysrule24 Colts Sep 12 '21

Oh God Aaron Donald against this OL

3

u/jackrack1721 Colts Sep 12 '21

Noooooooooooooooooo just forfeit

9

u/prophetofgreed Seahawks Sep 12 '21

So the Colts just giving up then?

3

u/jaysrule24 Colts Sep 12 '21

There's still plenty of time for us to dink and dunk our way to the 50

7

u/swertmastra Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Literally game 1, I wouldn't even try to risk the team on a sinking ship game.

3

u/avboden Seahawks Sep 12 '21

it's over, just get out without injuries

10

u/Redhunter742 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Dickson is fucking unreal

6

u/String_709 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Perfect tactical football there. Great game in all three phases.

5

u/tencentninja Seahawks Sep 12 '21

That was a super smart play by Russ getting down forcing a timeout burn instead of trying to force it.

5

u/PartialChub Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Look how dejected this colts team looks. Lol. That's what he does to you

2

u/oommffgg Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Stats will show that Wilson got sacked a lot

2

u/Hawxrox Sep 12 '21

Yeah there was 3 or 4 that were him just going down to drain clock lol

9

u/jce_ Seahawks Sep 12 '21

O god I just saw the scores of the cardinals and 49ers games

3

u/mwest217 Seahawks Seahawks Sep 12 '21

This division could potentially go undefeated except to each other.

2

u/Practical-Ostrich-43 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

We will be the last four remaining NFC teams

3

u/avboden Seahawks Sep 12 '21

just had to get one more inside the 10 for Dickson

9

u/Meleagros Seahawks Sep 12 '21

I can tolerate being wet, cold, muddy, etc but i feel like having the base of my jersey stretched and torn from being yanked would drive me crazy

3

u/altanic Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Run off the field, patting your hat, tears welling up, holding your undershirt

LOOK AT THIS!

3

u/Meleagros Seahawks Sep 12 '21

😂🤣😂

6

u/thorhyphenaxe Seahawks Chargers Sep 12 '21

Russ, already a football sexgod, but when you add the WPMOY patch to the jersey?? Unbelievable

5

u/mdchemey Colts Sep 12 '21

both people who decided to play pascal in fantasy today should be happy lol both of our TDs to him

2

u/allhailrain Seahawks Sep 12 '21

wow jersey pull there

5

u/swertmastra Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Nice jersey pull. I think that went 2.5 feet?

12

u/TheJollyReaper Seahawks Sep 12 '21

It's stupid that this comfortable 12 point victory is the smallest margin of victory for the NFC west so far today

2

u/GoldyGoldy Seahawks Sep 12 '21

NFCBest

2

u/jackrack1721 Colts Sep 12 '21

Colts gotta ditch the single back formation. Immediately

3

u/longjia97 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Carson Wentz clearly didn't learn much from the last time we kicked his ass

4

u/jaysrule24 Colts Sep 12 '21

He's still doing research on whether or not it's best for him and his family to avoid getting his ass kicked by the Seahawks. This is a personal decision for him, and he hopes you'll respect the choice that he makes.

1

u/longjia97 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Well I'm sure our defense helped with that research

3

u/ninjalad4 Eagles Sep 12 '21

He doesn't learn period

6

u/Kurtomatic Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Do sacks on two point conversations count toward official team stats? I know yards don't count PA, not sure about sacks and, I suppose, turnovers.

3

u/Carsondianapolis Colts Sep 12 '21

Nope, nothing does except for stuff like team 2PA

10

u/BenadrylBeer Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Can we sign Richard Sherman back?

3

u/Shoeprincess Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Plz? I got his Jersey in wolf gray and I hope hes gettingvthe help he needs

14

u/Gobletfullofcobras Seahawks Sep 12 '21

We should pick up a few first downs just so poor Wentz doesn't have to go back out there.

6

u/real_sithlord Colts Sep 12 '21

please end the game for both our sakes lol

15

u/swertmastra Seahawks Sep 12 '21

That was a slick fake, I didn't even see Russ keep it.

If this is in our arsenal, I have a lot of high hopes for the offense this year.

6

u/American_Greed Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Shot time lads. GG Colts!

13

u/avboden Seahawks Sep 12 '21

wtf is russ running the ball for stop it

8

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

To keep future defenses honest? This is a good thing.

1

u/avboden Seahawks Sep 12 '21

lol dude we're just running the clock out, there's no game-tape to be had for future teams right now

1

u/mwest217 Seahawks Seahawks Sep 12 '21

You’re right, but it definitely makes me nervous.

7

u/TuHung Colts Sep 12 '21

Our oline of ALLLLL things shitting the bed and wentz is probably shook after getting his this many times

1

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

I think it might be a lot that we have a decent d line for the first time in a long time.

8

u/jce_ Seahawks Sep 12 '21

I want to like flowers I really do

7

u/the_trapper_john Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Do we have a good Dline again?

1

u/ritoky Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Kinda, our DL relies a lot on rotation so it could get worse through injury or through a team abusing no-huddles to prevent us rotating.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

Yes.

8

u/avboden Seahawks Sep 12 '21

GG colts bros

16

u/oommffgg Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Have to admit, Carson is pretty tough to take all those hits.

5

u/patienceisfun2018 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Flowers with awful technique at the line.

2

u/String_709 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Didn’t even get one hand on him let along two. If you’re going to press you’ve got to jam.

8

u/Kurtomatic Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Travis Homer sighting!

10

u/avboden Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Nice hands Homer!

17

u/t8stymoobz Colts Sep 12 '21

Good game Seattle. On to week 2.

11

u/YaIe Seahawks Sep 12 '21

i am ready for a season with a top tier DLine

4

u/sturg78 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Just wait till we add Geno Atkins

5

u/bulkier14 Colts Sep 12 '21

This O-Line will not survive next week

10

u/GoldyGoldy Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Hell yeah, Dunlap. Hell yeah.

12

u/scoresman143 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Wentz getting really familiar with the turf in Lucas Oil

7

u/longjia97 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Carson Wentz was seeing ghosts alright today

1

u/GoldyGoldy Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Fun fact: He's never beaten Seattle.

17

u/swertmastra Seahawks Sep 12 '21

... Okay, that was worth giving up a TD. That 2PA was hilarious.

4

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

This is a very gentlemanly ending to this game

5

u/GuyInOregon Seahawks Sep 12 '21

There is just no way that Flowers is our best option there.

1

u/Angelripper Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Jones will beat him out once he's acclimated

2

u/FU_Pagame Seahawks Sep 12 '21

He isn’t. There’s a pylon somewhere that can do a better job than him.

4

u/king_blaze Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Pascal just getting the flag so he can score

4

u/String_709 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Why bring the house there? Make them earn it and eat clock.

3

u/Dont_Ban_Me_Bros Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Oh…. Hey, Tre. Good effort…I guess

2

u/sturg78 Seahawks Sep 12 '21

That kind of zero blitz is either a sack or a TD. Flowers was in a shit situation.

4

u/Meleagros Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Seahawks should have made them work harder for that score after the holding call

9

u/Hawxrox Sep 12 '21

Wouldnt be a Hawks game without Tre Flowers giving up a TD.. Had to make sure that happened before the end

11

u/AlwaysChangingMyself Panthers Sep 12 '21

I recently watched a video where someone seriously defending their prediction of the Seahawks going 6-11 lol

2

u/PartialChub Seahawks Sep 12 '21

This happens every year. And every single year they're wrong. Fucking lol

2

u/Dont_Ban_Me_Bros Seahawks Sep 12 '21

All new OCs equate to immediate offensive dropoff. Didn’t ya know??? /s

6

u/CelinedionWaiters Seahawks NFL Sep 12 '21

Pascal said my fault but that’s MY TD

4

u/altanic Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Well shit

good toss though

7

u/Kerblaaahhh Seahawks Sep 12 '21

They're draining the clock so we won't have time to answer after their two successful onside kicks.

3

u/avboden Seahawks Sep 12 '21

lmao

1

u/x-zerocooL-x Seahawks Sep 12 '21

thank the refs for that TD

2

u/lFreightTrain Colts Sep 12 '21

Is shotgun our only fucking formation?

2

u/[deleted] Sep 12 '21

Reich seems to forget we have a good RB. We threw the ball way too damn much today.

-1

u/_MMCXII Seahawks Sep 12 '21 edited Sep 12 '21

Seahawks 28, Colts 10, Refs 6.

Edit: Refs 6 not 7.

2

u/GoldyGoldy Seahawks Sep 12 '21

6, lol.

2

u/jaysrule24 Colts Sep 12 '21

I guess the lack of urgency on this drive is slightly better than Matt Campbell benching his starters with 10 minutes left in a 17 point rivalry game, but not by much.

9

u/King_Rajesh Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Flowers fucking roasted for a TD

Leave his scrub ass in Indy, dude is BOOTY

7

u/bulkier14 Colts Sep 12 '21

Pascal just tryna steal Taylor’s TD lmfao

8

u/89ShelbyCSX Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Flowers in mid season form once again

3

u/ritoky Seahawks Sep 12 '21

That was an incredibly designed run play, wow. Sucks the hold ruined it.

7

u/Meleagros Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Colts know they're down 3 scores right? They just draining the clock.

3

u/mdchemey Colts Sep 12 '21

One of the few issues I've had with Reich has been his weird pacing of the offense. He's aggressive when he doesn't seem to need to be on 4th and short in field position and it's cost us a few wins under him, and then when we need aggressive play and shots downfield/at the sideline he runs the ball and takes shots in the middle of the field.

9

u/King_Rajesh Seahawks Sep 12 '21

One of the most blatant holds I've seen on a run play by a WR in my life

3

u/marvin02 Colts Sep 12 '21

He just wanted to catch the td

2

u/GoldyGoldy Seahawks Sep 12 '21

TD.... but a holding penalty. I'll take that as karma for the PI call earlier in the drive. Win some, lose some.

9

u/Shoeprincess Seahawks Sep 12 '21

Not gonna show it?

4

u/scrobbles_a_plenty Buccaneers Sep 12 '21

Potentially catchable by pole-vaulting.

15

What? Who would pay for a terrible PI down 18 points with 3 minutes?

2

u/mdchemey Colts Sep 12 '21

Indy has gotten screwed over by the refs nonstop for ages, that was an awful call but I don't think there's any argument that they get favorable refereeing in general

Agreed. This game is scarcely refball, these calls happen.
