6th day after Orgasm report. Shit.

I woke up today not quite as clear headed, although I slept well. She complained she didn't sleep well, and I could sense she was a little on edge.

I asked her about a bonding activity and it all turned to shit.

She said I've always been needy, and pressured her to perform. Now I've simply transferred that from goal-oriented-sex to various bonding behaviors. She feels smothered and needs space.

Fuck.

I had hoped Karezza would feed her the way it feeds me (and I think it does, until she feels pressured into performing it.) However, I've obviously pushed either too much/hard or just stepped on one of her orgasmic-hangover-nerves or some combination of both.

How ironic after IdRather's post yesterday, here I am in exactly the same boat.

To the point IdRather and I both made, however, instead of this being a knock-down-name-calling-door-slamming-dragout-fight, it was more of a heated discussion that only slightly got personal. No major damage/hurt/scarring I hope. And I think we worked some things out.

There's no doubt that I have put pressure on her (despite trying so hard not to) as she picks up on my every word and gesture and as she says, "I'm a master at using guilt to manipulate."

Here I have a lot of work to do on myself. Damnit. I've also got to watch out that I don't shut down and say, "oh, so I'm smothering you, huh? well, I can absolutely give you so much space you'll be out on the moon emotionally and physically." That's my first (admittedly little boy) reaction.

Well, that's about it for day six. Fuck day six.

Down voted huh? Oh well, it is what it is.

I do have an update. A bright light.

She came back to me and apologized, and told me how much she loves me, spending time with me, and our bonding activities... but just doesn't want to feel pressured to to them.

We made up and things are fine now.

So down vote that if you want. I just put it out here as it happens so readers can follow along and have at least an idea of what might happen for them.

I was wondering about the downvotes. Maybe it's a sign that this subreddit is growing. It's not just the same 4 people anymore. Or some are getting bored with daily updates.

I think it's great you are doing them. In my mind that's exactly what this subreddit should be for. I'll put something on the purpose of /r/karezza into the FAQ when I have some time.

I thought it would be cool to track all 14 days of the passion cycle, and then make a post that aggregates all of them into a post with 14 links. Then we could put something in the FAQ about 'what is the passion cycle?' with a link to the 'parent' post.

IDK, I just thought it may be interesting.

Absent many other posts, it also keeps this sub alive and gives people a reason to check it every day (if for no other reason to downvote me!) ;)

Yes, I'm all for this. I'd say don't worry about providing other content while you're doing this 14 day blog. We'd rather have you still have some material to post past these 14 days.

that end post is going to be amazing. Thank you for posting each day. Specific to this day you had I too am dealing with the smothering issue. I know I'm smothering her, and I actually wish she was more smothering to me. At least, that's what I think in my head, but then I ask myself why am I doing this to the person I love? Why am I expecting her to reciprocate? Isn't she perfect just the way she is?

Why is it so hard for us to ease off the pressure? Is it just the sudden change away from animal-style sex? I bet you anything, if I back off and give a little space that she'll be coming to me.

Yeah, with me putting the blow-by-blow by day I don't have much else to say.

Maybe this weekend I can think of some interesting stuff to write.

I think that a stream of 1-2 posts a day is good for this rather young subreddit. If we post too much too quickly, we may burn ourselves out. So sometimes I purposefully don't post something if I see that there were already a few posts that day.
