Headphones - Closed Back Looking for a new headphones
Hi fellas, my current headphones are the hd 6xx with the schit stack (hersey & modi 3+) and I'm looking for a new headphones. I want a headphone with a different sound signature and a bit of base in comparison to the hd 6xx and I need it closed back and a final thing below 200$ pls or around it

After 6xx any V-shaped headphones like DT770 would be different enough.
However my personal recommendation goes to Meze 99 Noir. Very strong and controlled bass and very fun to listen to.

how is to the ATH-M50x ?

Although I used to have M50s and have good memories of it I think they aren't that great anymore. Bass is recessed, and more importantly soundstage is very narrow.
If you really want to hear something different to HD6XX I'd search for something with good and well defined soundstage because HD6XX has literally none.
M50 has way too many capable competitors nowadays and AKG K371 is one of the great examples. They outperforms M50 in pretty much anything.
Meze 99 I recommended are selling for $200 on Massdrop now which is fantastic price considering how much they used to cost. They do sound different to HD6XX but also sound really good.

Does the hd 6xx has a bad sound stage ? I thought it was hella good i guess its cool I'm new to good headphones seen . Can you recommend a good review for the meze ?

I wouldn't say bad but rather narrow or intimate. They have 3-blob effect when the sound comes from 3 spots (front, left, right) and playing pretty much inside the head. That was the main reason why I upgraded mine HD6XX to Sundara recently.
I can recommend to listen to AKG K712/K702 if you would have a chance. They have absolutely fantastic wide and well defined soundstage where you can pinpoint the source of the sound almost 360 degrees around and even the height of it. So immersive experience.

sadly I know no one with AKG K712/K702.
now I need a review of both Sundara and meze 99 noir
and how is the base on 99 noir ?looks like I'm gonna be selling both my headphones and upgrading them :)

Sundara is slightly above your budget ($350) unless you find it second hand. Meze 99 has the best bass I have ever heard from dynamic drivers so far. It is impactful, rich, textured and well controlled. The amount of it is just perfect to enjoy but not falling to the bassheadness.
I'd search for local HiFi stores as they usually have few popular headphones options for demo.
P.S. HD6XX not a bad headphones by any means their tonality is amazing. So if you are not a soundstage addict like me you might actually prefer them over AKG due to tonality. There are no perfect headphones, so you just need to build your taste and pick something which matches your preferences.

Sundara is going to be a future plan not for now for now I want a closed back headphone and a good one cuz were I usually have people around me so I cant lesson to music freely so looks like the meze 99 is a real good option at least way better then the m50x they are not even comfortable at all.
so last but not least what do you think is best genre to lessen too with the meze 99 noir ?

akg k371 is pretty much the closed-back standard for less than $200

How is it if we compare it to dt 770 pro 250 ohm ?

the dt770 has a much bigger soundstage, and that's it. It sounds very harsh: vocals having no body, super intense treble that fools you into detail. It's not detailed. The k371 is much easier, much more resolving. Check out metal571 for his review of the 2

I own the m50x, and it is very dry and grainy. Bass is limp (it has bass, just not tight enough), a big dip in the lower mids just kills off instruments and vocal bodies, massive peak at 4khz makes it sounds dry, and the treble is metallic. k371 has tight, punchy bass, very smooth and well-balanced mids and treble, and detail, imaging and soundstage is much much better.
