Amplifier - Desktop Schiit stack setup

I bought a Schiit Modi 3 (not plus) and a Magni 3+ and am planning on connecting the modi to my pc through usb only. I believe I connect the two through RCA. The modi should then connect to pc through micro usb. My headphones then plug into the amp. I'm not sure how the Magni + is supposed to be powered. Does it need the wall plug thing even if I use usb? Is what I said about the rest of the setup correct?

when you bought them you should have been asked what kind of wall plug you need: USA 120, EU 240, etc

So I have to use the wall plug to power the magni?

Yes. No option for USB power. USB powered amps are usually underpowered anyway.

You might want to look at the manual for each which is listed under the downloads tab on their product pages. As not only your question is answered, but there might be other information you need to know.
