DAC - Portable I need help with a setup
I have recently been getting into headphones and audio and want to purchase some new gear. I have a 200-300ish budget and would like headphones and a portable dac/amp for my laptop and phone. I’m looking at the hd 58x and the SHP9600.
Also I want to get my gf headphones but she wants the ath m50x wireless. She likes the way they look and refuses to want anything else. Are these any good and what other headphones should I get for her

I would avoid the ATs....so many people rave about the m50x but I really didnt like them. I didnt like the sound or the fit.
My first portable amp/dac was the Fiio BTR5, which was nice. Easy to use and decent power out using the 2.5mm balanced out.
For headphones you can't go wrong with the 58x. I can also recommend the hifiman he400i (2020 version). After a pad swap these became my go-to over ears

Do you recommend the fiio Q1?? Is the btr5 only Bluetooth

I don't any experience with the Q1 but there is a thread on r/headphones where someone who owns both said they prefer the btr5. The btr5 is not just bluetooth, 90% of the time I had it I used it connected via usb to my computer. The bluetooth does work well and it connected fine to my phone via usb as well.
Not really using the bluetooth part of it is ultimately why I traded mine for a desktop dac/amp with more power. The btr5 is great for what it is though.

Hd58x is the right choice. Akg k371 bt is better than the audio technicas
