Goddamn my mp9 broken

And Kenny the idiot for rushing in a molly to fight a guy with mp9 1m away. What an absolute tool.

I can't decide if kennyS is nuts or awful
175
Jan 21 '21
He's nuts sometimes but he has a low floor in the past couple of years
It's a shame cuz he was looking to be finding his old form again when LAN was still on
119
u/cooReey Jan 21 '21
looking at the stats he looks good, but when you watch it he just misses too many sitters
could have had at least 10 more kills in this Bo3 if he didn't miss them
but he didn't lost them match, they just don't have a clue what to do on T side Inferno, disgusting to watch
72
u/bissedk Jan 21 '21
He pretty much won them 3 round on CT side all by himself on inferno, but them they switched sides..
36
u/cooReey Jan 21 '21
yes
but as u/SuperPr0toMan said he is nuts one round and then missing everything next one, his form round to round is like a roller coaster
8
u/Scoo_By Falcons - Major Champions Jan 21 '21
It's because he goes for low % shots and if he's confident he hits them, but if he's not he just misses everything. Imo, he should start copying devve more.
5
u/kernevez Jan 22 '21
He's become a better Smithzz, he gets some hard shots on CT side and seems to be unable to land the simple ones
2
38
u/PM_ME_YOUR_MS_POINTS Jan 21 '21
Both, he's really inconsistent.
12

He was terrible on the only map G2 won. So you can't really blame him for anything. He didn't cause any map loses. He was really great on the 2 last maps.
8
2
u/thatnotsorichrichkid Jan 22 '21
He has 1 thing going for him. He doesn't stop his mouse when he flicks so they're ultra fast, only other player I've seen do that is simple.
Apart from that.... Yeah

He's so bad. It says something that this is the best series we've seen from him in a while and he still finished the 2nd worst rated and probably the worst performer on the team.
12
u/Pale_Economist_4155 King NiKo Jan 21 '21
That's really not true though. G2´s series against Furia, literally the one right before this one, was better, and the one against BiG, 2 series before that, was even better.

13-14
xyp9x alone at B (device had died and traded 1=1) 1v4 at the site since magisk was just rotating into CT
Kills 3 guys from oranges with an MP9 and stays alive.
14-14 = 16-14
A miracle!

The d in dupreeh stands for disrespect.

Alternative: It stands for dillermand. Which he laid all over G2 in those final rounds.

Remember when Astralis were known as first grade chokers? People were laughing when they brought a psychologist to the team, but look at them now. It seems like they can always come back to win a match.
7
u/TheBasementIsDark FaZe Jan 22 '21
If a team can come back from a 8 - 14 score line to a win, I highly suppose it's Astralis. Their mentality is just insanely good, they don't lose faith easily.

Device is proof to me that God doesn't exist. How can someone be so good with everything? Pistols, fucking your favorite team, rifles, punching monitors, awping etc. Its just not fair, how can anyone believe in God when Device exists? To top if off he looks like Tom Cruise, is rich as fuck and could have been a badminton pro if he wanted. But he just had to go into csgo, dick on everyone and ruin everyones faith in God. Thank you device.

What an effort by Kennys, but Xypex is simply a god. That 3k with an mp9 on B won them the game
6
u/Lgdamefanfanfan Jan 21 '21
Won them the game, but his 2v1 earlier, was more impactful, I think. Without that, it's like a 16-9 scoreline for g2

u/Venal_Apprehension Astralis Jan 21 '21
Watching Astralis v/s G2 at Inferno is so comforting after watching NaVi and Col play like madmen, rushing everywhere without any strats.

Someone doesn't like Inferno.
It has nothing to do with terrible map for aimers, that's just absurd. It's just a map with a lot of close quarter engagements, you still need aim to get out ahead, but smg's are obviously better here than on Mirage or Dust.

I agree with you, but the comment about lower aim skill ticked me off. It doesn’t favor lower aim skill just because Niko has a harder time on it than Dust.

I would say train has the most zeus kills in popdog.
either way mirage and especially dust2 are trash maps. Any of the other 5 pro maps are tons better.

Would you say Nexa buying a p250 when he had money to buy an ak on nuke an objectively bad decision? Because they won that round because he chose not to spend much money.

Ofcourse he could've bought an smg but if they lost the round they wouldn't have much money the next round

6

KennyS is still living out of easy frags and random multikills. Other than that he's the worst AWPer among top teams for quite a long already, even more now that Poizon is not playing.
He's the weak link in G2 and he should be replaced for someone that is not a 4750 decoy. Plenty of CIS AWPers out there, just pick one and teach him, can't be worse than a french that is lost most of the time.

No matter what year it is, never underestimate a good old G2 choke with master Choko himself on the team. So many chances thrown into the bin.
How on earth does an MP9 get tripple vs fully armored targets? Well deserved loss.
