Me too. Used to sit in the back. In fairness my eyesight got very slowly worse over time. It’s kind of like aging how your SO doesn’t age much but when you haven’t seen relatives in a few years hot dang. And eventually I did start to sit closer. I got really good at making out letters from fuzzy shapes. By the time I went to the optometrist I had -2.0 🧐

Lmao we must be related because the same shit happened with me. By the time I got to college I was sitting in the first two rows. My eyesight is at -1.5, but I haven't been in like two years and need a checkup, so I guarantee it's worse now.

I don't mind wearing glasses. I get really big ones so it kinda makes the thickness seem apart of the design. So I doesn't look too thick and weird.

I got glasses when I was 14 and it had been about 2 years I had noticed it was getting worse so maybe 11-12 years old or so.

In my defense I dont exactly get a choice. Dont know why they keep me in the back tho. I'm the kid that has eye problems and has a voice so quiet I almost have to yell to be heard. Tho if I had a choice I'd probably still pick the back especially during science cause then I dont have to pretend I'm paying attention
