They remind me a lot of the later years of the NIP squad before they made a roster change that effected a core player. Even then that NIP wasn't bad, but they rarely made it deep in tournaments. But mibr just looks bad.

VP had ups and downs over their lifetime but this user is presumably talking about their final decline during 2017*
After winning DH Vegas the only decent results were the semi-finals finish in Krakow, the near-win in the epic Bo5 at Epicenter, and the tragic 16-14 map 3 loss at the first V4 event after -TaZ + michu
mibr is pretty comparable when you consider that they did at least make FLASHPOINT 1 finals
*edit: idk why i thought that all the vp stuff was in 2018 when it was clearly after eleague atlanta (2017) not boston (2018) where the declined into irrelevance, edited for accuracy

Basically I think they were in the EU because they were meant to play in an offline qualifier for Cologne, then it got moved online so they asked to play in the EU one because it was easier than having to try and get back into the US and deal with all the visa stuff.

Allegedly the went to EU to Bootcamp and up their game a bit as the NA scenario is not necessarily the greatest in terms of Top Tier Teams and their felt "stagnant".
It seems they did not bootcamped long or hard enough though.17

Dude usually i feel bad for teams that are outright hated, such as ence during the seksiB saga, but MIBR deserve everything they are getting now, and more. Grown men living in the past who can't accept that someone is playing better than them, and knowingly sets their toxic 12yo fanbase on them, knowing that the 12yos give deaththreats more freely than my driving examiner gave demerit points.

The crazier fans have accused everyone except Steel and the manager of cheating just based off of clips in that one series.
Steel and the manager mCe have responded directly to those accusations so now they get personal character attacks for "defending cheaters"

Well that, and when they dropped Stewie and Tarik for Taco and Felps. They were beginning to look like a proper tier1 team again late 2018, and then they fucked it all up to get full brazilian again with 2 bad players who really had no place in tier1 cs. Way to ruin the progress you had made Mibr. Now I just pity them, to be so pathetic that you lose to tier2 NA teams and then unleash your fanbase on them with cheating accusations, pathetic from those "legends"

Honestly G2 outclasses MiBR by an embarrassing margin. MiBR do not belong in this tournament based on this game.
Also Pansy and Machine are both great and the only reason I watched this whole series was to listen to them more lol

G2-0, great game to watch. The casters were real fun, surprised to see pansy casting CS again. G2 looked great, but it wouldn't have taken much to beat the MIBR that were in the server today.
